If you just need a no frills place to stay, this is it. Truly non smoking property. Room just big enough for bed, bathroom, tv and small fridge. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. Overall good for the money.

1) I filled bath water & there were 4-5 disgusting 'floating things' in the water. 2) Toilet seat had 'delaminated' & was rough on my bottom. 3) 1 of 2 lights over the desk area was broken & the one that worked had a very low wattage bulb. 4) The edge-strip on the desk trim was coming off 5) There were 2-3 'wear-marks' in the carpet that were worn-off down to the matting showed white 6) 1 of 2 lights over the 'window shelf' was super-low wattage ..... possibly a 15w bulb that had ZERO light to the area below where we had our suitcases. *** The Quality level of this room was UNACCEPTABLE!

The low price was the main plus. The rooms are small but big enough. Refrigerator but no microwave in room. Breakfast bar is limited - toast, bagels, etc., or cereal on weekdays - although coffee is good. Location is relatively near to a lot of restaurants.

I paid in full upon arrival and was notified there would be a small hold also. I said this would be fine. The person at the desk told me it would come off in 5 to 10 days. 2 days later after already paying in full there was now an even larger hold on my card plus the full amount already cleared. The hold was almost the full amount. The person at the desk was very confused by this and said he didn’t see anything on his end. After I did the math I realized this was the full amount of the stay minus the original small hold: He assured me this hold would come off in 5-10 days. It’s been 2 weeks and this hold is still on my account AFTER paying. I contacted corporate and they said they can’t do anything since it’s a franchise. They gave me an email to contact the management of this hotel. The hotel didn’t respond to my email.

We reserved a king an got a queen when we brought it to the staff attention then said "to bad". We had lights in our room that the bulbs where burnt out an one light fixture when u moved it to get better light sent sparks out of the fixture!!!

You get what you pay for. Not the cleanest, but safe and quiet. The shower was nice but the bathroom wasn’t too clean; p*bic hairs on toilet, smudges on light switch covers, etc. Towels were nice and clean, but the bed sheets were a bit stained. However for $58 a night it’s nicer than average for that price point and perfect for if you need a cheap place to stay while you’re in town for a conference or festival. Wouldn’t stay here again, it’s probably worth the extra $30 to stay somewhere else if you can afford it.

At check-in we were charged a fee for our service dog. Fine- too tired to find the form (that no other Microtel has ever asked for or I’d have had it ready..). The room was filthy, cigarette burns on countertops, NO hangers on closet rod, holes on the sheet.. but the best part? The deadbolt didn’t work- so I stacked everything inside front of the door overnight (knowing the slightest effort would cause protection mode in my dog). Only the next morning leaving did I realize the door didn’t lock AT ALL. I could just push it open!! Rm 130. No, I didn’t bother reporting it to the front desk. Over it. Do yourself a favor and KEEP SCROLLING.
