Hallways were not clean, but the room and bathroom were. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool and there was a nice pool deck area for parents.

Pros: Close to airport and nearby attractions.
Cons: Staff did not appear in a hurry to get us to airport. We were forced to take a cab to avoid missing our flight.
Location: Six Flags, Churchill Downs, University of Louisville
Stayed because was convenient to airport. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. This hotel does cater to convention-goers, it appears, and what I would refer to as a "blue collar" crowd. Not a place I would take my family, but convenient if you want to stay close to airport. We did request shuttle service to airport at the concierge desk, and was told "he'll be right back" (shuttle was parked outside, but no sign of driver). Waited 25 minutes and never saw him, so we were forced to take a cab to avoid missing our flight.

We stayed here and went to Kentucky kingdom! They provided us with a shuttle there and back! Rooms are very spacious and clean. Beautiful pool. Very attentive staff!

Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: Carpet in the room I was in.
Location: Convenient to the airport. I did not travel around I attended a convention.
I have been there many times before. It is a great place.

Next to Kentucky Kingdom and the airport

Pros: Pool was large and warm but needed cleaning and more chairs.
Cons: No free coffee service in lobby. No in-room refrigerator. They more self-serve luggage carts.
Location: Kentucky Kingdom, a bowling alley, and the airport are right next door. Not much nearby in the way of eating except for the hotel restaurant.
We stayed here for two nights on Memorial Day weekend. Our kids enjoyed the pool - it seemed that it must be heated because we were surprised by how warm the water felt for only being the month of May. Our room was clean and we were readily given extra towels and a roll-away bed free of charge (three children). I would give this hotel a better star rating except there were a few things I just couldn't get passed. First, the weekend we stayed there, there was some sort of Dachshund convention going on. Nowhere was this mentioned when making the reservation. If it's not bad enough that my husband has allergies, one hall we walked down on the way to the pool smelled so badly of "dog odor" that even I was gagging to a point of almost vomiting. Wish we would have known about this when making the reservation. Second, I had read the reviews when making the reservation that there was no free lobby coffee/drink service so it was not a shock upon arrival. However, for a hotel of this size, they should be able to offer free self-service coffee/drinks other than just a coffee maker in-room. We were able to get a luggage cart to take our own luggage to the room when we arrived. When we were checking out, my husband went down to the lobby to get a cart and was told our only option was to lug everything down by hand or have a bellman do it. They don't have enough carts to loan for self-service. We had too much to lug it by hand so we incurred a tip by using a bellman.
