Nice hotel. Close to gate. Stayed there before.

Pros: Very convenient location
Cons: Restaurant food and there could be a place to put your clothes in the bathroom, a seat or some small shelf.
Location: Brilliant location and lots of shops and restaurants close by.
Hotel was fine. Staff were very polite and helpful. Very close to Gate so very helpful for us. Restaurant food could be improved a little. Very basic.

Very convenient location

Posted May 20, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Paint dark rooms in white and remove separate toilet (else put a sink in with the toilet)
Location: Sanctuary
Stayed for 2 nights. Location is very convenient - only 2/3 minute walk to one of the main sanctuary entrances. Check-in was straightforward (we had booked online). The room was fairly spacious with a double sized bed, a shower room (shower cubilcle, bidet and a sink) and a separate room with just a toilet. It was quite dark - the walls AND ceiling to the bedroom and toilet were painted in an apricot colour. Given the direction of the room / window, it would make more sense to paint it all white. The separate toilet just didn't work because the sink was in the main shower room, so you had to go 'next door' to wash your hands. There was a kettle provided, but no tea or coffee, and two plastic stirrers (?). The bed was firm, as were the 2 main pillows. There were also 2 additional square cushions which were quite large, very soft and lumpy. There was also a safe in the room, but we couldn't get it working and it wasn't fixed down (!). We had asked for a quiet room and it certainly was that. Reception staff were a mixture of friendly and unfriendly. We ate food in the cafe on a few occasions and service was friendly and the food was okay. They give you a coupon booklet upon check-in which has a number of coupons for 10% off a number of eateries (including the cafe at Saint Sauveur) and souvenir shops. We didn't pay for breakfast so cannot comment on what that was like. Parking was available at the hotel, but chargeable at 15 euros per day. However, there is plenty of free pa

This hotel was recommended by a friend. Very close to the St. Joseph gate of the Basilica. Make sure to bring a washcloth, hair rinse, and body lotion if desired, as these are not provided. The shampoo they provide is a combination shampoo/body wash. Staff was excellent; very helpful. will stay here again in my next visit.

Good hotel, very close to the sanctuary.

Very helpful staff who were very willing to go the extra miles to make you feel at ease and ensures that your stay is as importable as you would expect it to be. Staff speak English and many other languages fluently. However I would suggest if the hotel can afford to leave at least some tea and coffee in the room as this would help for those who like to have a cuppa in the middle of the night. This extra service can even be added to the final bill on check out if the hotel cannot afford to give it for free!!!
