Professional and cleanPosted Oct 1, 2015
Pros: The staff were polite and efficient. The restaurant gave fabulous views.
Cons: More information on what eating facilities were available outside of breakfast including menus and prices could have been clearer.
Location: About two miles from town centre with excellent road network links. Dundalk has a museum, large shopping centre and leisure facilities.
On the outskirts of the town and within easy reach of all motorway and A road connections. The hotel was clean and modern. The highlight for me was the breakfast experience. The restaurant is on the 13th floor and gave excellent views of the surrounding area including the coastline. The food choice was very good, with something for everyone. I would stay again and have already recommended to family members.

Cons: No complaints
Location: Not much around. But convenient if you need to be in Dundalk. Was perfect
We stayed here the night before a wedding. Not much to do but we were there for a wedding. Staff were great. Great view. Great food at the bar for dinner and upstairs for breakfast. Good price. Convenient location.

We ( my husband son(13) daughter(12) and l stayed at the crowne plaza last thurs night as a stop off on our way to Feile in dungannon on fri. We set off at about 7 pm on thurs once my husband had finished work. On route l rang to just say we were on the way to be informed that there was no reservation for us. I explained that we had booked through hotels.com and that we had received a confirmation email the previous sun even and that a family room had been booked and paid for. I was catagoraly informed that there was no room in our name and to make matters worse the hotel was fully booked up and that they were sorry but there was nothing they could do. I was in shock here we were half way to drogheda with no accomadation. Four very stressful phone calls later to hotel.com and about 40 mins on the phone (my expense) l eventually was told that there was 2 rooms made available for us across from each other. When we arrived to the hotel the girl at reception could not have been more apologetic and helpful. The hotel staff could not have been nicer and we were extremely well looked after. We got the two rooms for the same price and the children got free movies to watch. I definately would recommend the crowne plaza drogheda to all.

Hotel was lovely, room was clean and had good facilities. It was a great price. We were there for a birthday in a group of 12 and we would all happily return.
