I did not like the fact that I was not told that there would be no breakfast served at all until I arrived. The room was adequate but nothing special. The refrigerator was so loud we had to unplug it in order to sleep. When we checked out, they would not give us a printed receipt and said it had been mailed to us. Still waiting on the receipt.

Pictures on Expedia looked good. When we arrived the front door was broken, staff had trouble getting us checked in. Then we we got to our assigned room the door was open and 2 maintenance guys were sitting in it on the couch.

When I arrived at the hotel there was noone to be found at the front desk for about 10 minutes. They were apparently at the hotel next door "helping" them with something. When I arrived in my room it was late and I was ready for bead. I pulled back the sheets to find a pair of socks in my bed, and hair on the sheets. Clearly the bed had been made and no sheets changed. The staff was helpful when I let them know and came and changed the sheets for me. They were friendly and helpful. The overall cleanliness of the hotel leaves me disappointed. The hallways looked more like the condition of a low rent apartment building then a decent hotel. I think there were more than a few people using this hotel as place to stay long term as a home due to the availability of the kitchen in the rooms. I would choose not to stay here again. There are a bunch of other options very close by that may be better based on this experience.

Room Mix Up
There are two sides to my stay, I booked the room 9 months ago, called three weeks ahead to verify and then again the day of and was told everything was secured. When I got there I booked a double queen and they only had one single queen room left, this was the second year in a row at this same Hotel this happened to me. Needless to say, I was not very happy and I was not able to fix the issue at that time. I was finally able to speak with the Manager later that night and at that point it was too late to fix the issue for my second night there also. They were able to move us rooms for our last nights stay and they did end up giving me some discounts to help the issue, which is the good side of the story. The bad part is it was myself and my two sons staying in the room, one is 15 and the other is 21 so they are not small children and a room with one bed just doesn't work. They were fully booked so the Manager and the staff did what they could to accommodate us and they were nice, it just wasn't a pleasant experience for us.

The hotel was not willing to reimburse us the difference between the King we ordered and the Queen we got stuck in. That is unacceptable to me.

Never again!
There was no clothes rod in the closet to hang clothes and no suitcase stand to put suitcases on. When I ask for the location of the ice maker, they told me they didn't have ice makers and if I wanted ice, I should make myself in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator in the room. There was no maid service in the room. The hotel doesn't have any kind of breakfast room. The toilet paper provided in the bathroom was terrible, more like tissue paper. On a positive note, the towels and washrags in the bath were very good.

Carpet was dirty and worn microwave door would not close, Went down for coffee in the morning no one was at the desk person had to come from the other hotel the coffee machine was out of coffee.

The room smelled like pet urine, the manager had a rude tone, there was no breakfast available (though on the filter), the bed was a double, not a 2 Queens Suite that was advertised, or even a King.

I LOVE staying at this Candlewood Suites in Loveland CO. They are always so friendly and accommodating. I feel pampered there and my dogs love it. The rooms are always very clean and comfy.

Needs maintenance!
The window air unit didn’t work. Maintenance was not available and neither was a fan. This was the only room available. It was such an uncomfortable temperature we didn’t get much sleep.
