If you are arriving by car, it will be a challenge to park. We knew that going into it. Great location for walking around town. Awesome breakfast. Pretty nice room. Friendly and helpful staff. We would stay there again.

Quiet, clean & convient
Sauna & hot tub plus complimentary beer were good. 10 minutes walk to the mall & grocery store . 3 Euros to make beds every day, so we didn’t ask to clean our room for 4 days. No AC, we opened windows when the room was warm. Many restaurants and stores were near and quiet . Mattress is a little hard for me, so I asked an extra comforter.

Beautiiful view of the river and hills surounding the city! Excellent location. Lovely city of Passau with an encredlble cathedral and fun Christmas markt. Also a fun Dachsund museum for those who like Dackles! A little off the beaten path for Americans so good English speakers aren’t as common in Passau as in other larger German cities, but enough English is spoken for most Americans to survive and have fun. If you speak German you’ll get lots opportunity to practice.

Heart of Passau! Clean, Great Location!
What a wonderful place! Great location, friendly staff, and a delicious free continental breakfast that overlooked the Danube. We had the only suite room and it was perfect! Cozy beds, clean, roomy, & great view. The staff was friendly and we walked right out onto the cobblestone streets from the entrance of the hotel. The price for parking was only $10/day. There are 5 spots and you get your assigned number. It's a tight squeeze, but hey, you're in the heart of Passau!

Wonderful location in the center of the old city. Some rooms have views of the river. Rooms are compact, spotless, and have some interesting and pretty wood cabinetry. Beds are firm, with a lovely warm duvet and down pillow. Check-in was effortless, and included a glass of beer or wine, which was appreciated. 9 minute walk from the train station.

Beautiful location, right on the river and in the Old Town. Service was wonderful, room was clean and large. Plenty of restaurants to order delivery from. Thank you for the perfect stay!

Beautifully maintained traditional hotel. Modern designed comfortable bedrooms with comfy mattress and standard soft German pillows. Mini bar good value as are drinks in the bar. Breakfast extra cost at Eur12 per head is wide ranging and excellent quality. Location in the centre of town is superb. Opposite pier A13 if you’re catching a river cruise.

Great location.
Hotel was nice. Great location. It has elevators but I wouldn’t consider it very handicap accessible. There’s at least a few step on each floor that you have to take. We didn’t need handicap so it didn’t bother us. It’s just something I make note of since my father would’ve needed it if he were there and maybe someone else needs that information as well. Definitely no regrets staying there.

Very nice hotel. Our room was bit noisy on the street side but that’s to be expected given its great location. Beautiful and delish breakfast! Large room, flower boxes in the windows, full size shower!

A hotel to avoid.
This hotel has no business being rated as four star. No air conditioning, hot, noisy, third rate bar and bar service, under-staffed, few amenities. The bar was tiny and poorly stocked. It had an open door in it leading to a bicycle storage room. The bar server doubled up as the receptionist and was never in the place that they were needed. This is the only hotel that I have been in that issued ear plugs to its guests. Just awful.

Best Deal in Passau
We stayed here for a night following a river cruise. It was excellent. The hotel is exceptionally well positioned for such a stay and is likewise situated in a very nice part of Passau. It provided a very nice, clean, and comfortable stay with a super breakfast. All that for a most reasonable price. We would definitely stay there again!

Very nice, clean, comfortable hotel with an excellent breakfast. Great bicycle storage for those like me with bikes. A little bit starting to show its age but a very nice stay and would stay again. Make sure you enter on the church side, not the Danube side or you will think you are staying in a very rundown place. It’s not, but oddly the river side entrance is less than enchanting (lots of tour buses on the river side).

Very charming. Yes, it is a very small compact room but very pleasing. Very close to Danube and nice shops such as Brax. Very lovely. Would recommend.
