“very elegant, a little bit expensive, but totally worth it”

“French Fields is a breath taking place to stay. Beautiful Lavender fields, Olive & fruit trees. Lovely pool area, very clean and private. Accommodation was amazing, with its own private patio surrounded by Rosemary & Lavender. The aromas were incredible. We stayed in the Lavender suite. It was gorgeous, spacious and quaint all at the same time. Cute little kitchenette tucked into a cabinet, roomy sitting area and adorable raised area for the King sized bed. Breakfast provided was……

“We had a busy day so we called in to say that we'll arrive late and the hotel did wait up for us till 10pm, appreciated!! The room is very big and there are lots of TV channels to watch for. The people there were very helpful and SUPER nice. Definitely will go back again.”

“The motel is located in a tranquil area, conveniently near the city centre. The room is clean and spacious. However, I wish the hotel manager were more welcoming and less calculative when guests ask for small extras, like 20ml of shampoo or one extra toilet roll. Additionally, the portable kitchen stove is not very effective.”

“Do to an oncoming storm and us having to change our plans because we were reliant on the Cook Strait ferry, we asked to be refunded for our second night, on the first night of our stay. We were told no and that the management wouldn’t approve this. We’re very disappointed. I think that this was very unfair and inconsiderate. They had every intention of reselling our room. We would have loved to stay for Valentine’s and the local food festival however that was taken from us.”
