Was highly recommended at the website, and we found it old, not clean enough, not pleasant and not welcoming. the only good thing was he location.

Rooms were good. Breakfast stinks everything is frozen good heated up and no cleanliness. They need to have a better front desk people, no one is from this city so you ask them for any kind of direction they have no clue or they need to train them with informations. Overall pretty good great location to access near places specially downtown.

Pros: Super Close to the cruise ship terminal!
Cons: Beds were to small.
Location: Excellent location!
Enjoyable stay and very conveniently located. Very clean hotel and very polite and friendly staff.

The perfect room!

We had a lovely stay at the Clarion. The room was wonderful with a great view of St Charles Street. Transportation downtown was easy and ran often. We would highly recommend this hotel.

They charged $20 for parking and you have to pay it to park inside, valet tells you it's free so they can get a tip. Management is very rude. I was very polite, in hopes of receiving kindness rather than being irate--no excuse for that--but she was irate with me regardless. Did not refund the parking fee, and then charged a $25 fee, without any warning. The manager responded rudely to everything. She asked to point out the valet parking attendant. Also stated that she didn't believe I was told that the parking was free. On the other hand, the breakfast was not mentioned as being included, so that was nice.
