Everything you needed, you need to ask. No kitchen equipment supplied but you could ring down. Asked for a boiling kettle and tea/coffee but was told no and to use the coffee machine on the ground floor. Had a full kitchen but unable to use it for a cup of tea/coffee. Ended up going to buy a kettle for use in the room. Asked for an iron and ironing board and had to ring down to get it! I am not sure the double glasses gentlemen understood my request Would I return again, no!

The kitchens are equipped with crockery, cookware and cutlery only on request and only in the presence of the guest. Our reception is open 24 hours and would respond immediately to your request. This is the only way to ensure that the guest can take over the utensils in hygienically perfect condition. A technically fully equipped kitchen is by no means standard in a hotel.Iron, kettle and many other conveniences are available on request. Again, the aspect of current disinfection is our main focus. Could not have tea or coffee facilities as I was denied it by reception (guy with two sets of glasses) I was told to come into the lobby for coffee and tea and the machine was only on for breakfast and the other machine near it was never on! One bed was uneven and they are single beds with gaps push together with a four inch gap between mattresses I will not stop there again. To be honest

Of course, the furnishings of your suite also have something to do with the category you have booked.Nevertheless, we would have made the complained kettle available to you. You are welcome to purchase coffee, tea and all other drinks at our bar at any time and yes, the coffee machines in the lobby are only available to our guests during breakfast times.Didn't you like the bed variation in your suite? It's a shame you didn't point that out during your stay. We have both king size bed suites and the twin beds you mentioned. In this way we can cater to all sleeping habits. Exceptionally comfortable stay
This was a lovely quality hotel. The accessible suite was so comfortable for my Mum who is in a wheelchair. Good quality fittings and very comfortable bed. Lots of extra features like a chair in shower and grab rails etc. a very large room with lots of storage. Staff were excellent and breakfast was amazing. We even were provided with an exceptional packed breakfast on our last day as we had to check out very early before breakfast began. We also ate in the restaurant one night which was of a very high standard. The view from the restaurant was lovely watching boats up and down the river. Our only complaint was that an event being run in their function room was noisy until the early hours of the morning but reception were very apologetic. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again soon.

Good hotel in great location.
We arrived early (1030hrs) our room was ready, there was an early check in charge of 12 Euro which we thought was reasonable. Our room was on the first floor it had a small enclosed balcony with a table and chairs which gave a view of the Rhine(it was a bit too cold to make use of this). There was a large bedroom with lots of storage and a television ,it had a separate lounge and kitchen area with plenty of seating. There were no utensils or crockery I presume if we had asked they would have supplied it.The lounge also had a large tv. Staff were very friendly and helpful.We had breakfast in the restaurant, it was nice to sit by the window watching the barges on the Rhine, again the staff were very friendly and efficient. We had drinks with friends on a couple nights it was not expensive compared to other hotel bars. There is a spa and sauna which we didn't use they also offer bicycle hire. We had a very enjoyable week and will definitely return.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel. Delicious breakfast, great dinner and very friendly staff. They have a bike storage as well. Great location for biking along the Rhein river.

Generell zufrieden. Große bequeme Räume. Hatten Abendessen über Expedia bereits bezahlt. Jedoch schien das nicht beim Hotel angekommen zu sein. Mussten dann noch mal vor Ort bezahlen. Überhaupt schien das Hotelpersonal etwas unsicher, wie mit Expedia- Buchungen umzugehen ist. Trotz des doppelten Preises waren wir mit dem Essen sehr zufrieden.

To Hot to Handle
This is an interesting one. This hotel was quite grand at one point I think. It’s a great location and the staff are friendly and trying their best in these Covid days. However it all feels a bit rough around the edges and that those in charge are more concerned with counting the euros than customer care. For example we were there during a heatwave and the rooms were hot to the point of being unbearable ( from previous reviews this is a recurring issue). In addition although the rooms have a kitchenette the chillers ( not a fridge apparently) are regulated to not get cold. A visit to the local shopping centre we bought a decent fan for thirty euros which made the nighttime bearable. Dear Hotel Wesel - don’t reply to this by saying thank you for review instead splash out 3000 euros for one hundred fans. It may give the accounts manager a nervous moment but trust me it will be a wise investment and well received by your very hot customers.

Welcome Hotel
This is an outstanding hotel on the Rhine River. The staff was professional and helpful and the rooms were spacious and immaculate. The buffet breakfast was top quality. There is a lake nearby, a mini golf park and biking and hiking trails. What a great find.

Fantastic hotel in perfect location
Extremely good value 4 star hotel with clean and spacious suites (separate bedroom and living area with small kitchenette. Staff are very friendly and efficient and breakfast is varied and plentiful. The meals and drinks are reasonable priced and of a high standard. We stayed over Christmas and were given 5 x star treatment. The overall quality of service was exceptional and one that many UK hotels could learn from. We will definitely be staying again.

Heerlijk ontbijt met mooi uitzicht op de Rijn. De kamer had wat netter gekunt. De matrassen waar we op lagen zijn kleiner dan de onderbox. Ook voel je de vering heel goed. Wel een ruime kamer met 4 personen.
