A hotel's review is based on a few factors: staff, the property, service, rates, accessibility among other things. While the hotel is nice, the service is sub-standard, the rate is ridiculously high and has lost most of its basic charm it was noted for. Some of the staff, especially at the dining room seem so demotivated and lack the appeal to serve and in desperate need of training. There is no beach, as it is not recommended for bathing. The room on the other hand is beautiful. Bathroom area just a little small for this hotel's standard. Adequate parking. Well kept grounds. The food is quite good, breakfast was delicious. Some areas of the hotel appear to be condemned, some areas are covered with rust and have some maintenance issues. This hotel is maybe the best on the island because of its decor and size, but in terms of service, definitely not the best.

We are so sorry that you did not experience the warmth and friendliness of the staff in some of the areas, since it is our expectation that the standards of the resort are upheld at all times. There is absolutely no excuse for poor customer service. This area will once again be addressed with the entire team.
