rude front desk

Pros: Senior staff
Cons: Train support staff properly
Visit started out with a rude front desk then a free cocktail hour and a bartender that was out of tonic (fifteen minutes into a two hour happy hour). If I would have not complained to a senior staff member I would have never gotten a vodka tonic. Senior management made an effort to over come poor staff performance , but my concern is what if senior staff isn't around. Room was okay, but shower was terrible ....no water pressure on ground floor . Not worth $180.00 a night

Hilton does not care for there guests

After making reservations on expedia, I called to the front desk to confirm the reservation. Later when we checked in we were informed that we no longer had a room, even though our room was already payed in full. We were sent to a sister property and after arriving there we were informed we had no reservation either, so the front desk there called to embassy suites and was informed they cancelled our reservation. Well the next morning I called to the corporate office and St hey were absolutely no help, first she said expedia booked our room when there were no rooms, well first that means the hotels inventory must be updated, but that is not the case because the reservation had been confirmed by the front desk staff that afternoon. Then corporate also stated the front desk could not cancel rooms prepaid from expedia or other third parties, but we were left with no room and had to drive around lubbock looking for a place to stay after we had already paid and been guaranteed a room at the embassy suites. Luckily I did book third party and expedia does care and honor their customers because otherwise I would not have gotten a refund, the embassy suites had told the gentlemen from expedia they could not refund the money because the room was canceled, but who cancelled the reservation if it was not me or expedia, hmm that would have to be the front desk at the embassy suites.

Nice hotel. Some outlets didn't work and water was on floor after shower. Overall good experience. Great staff. Very clean

Amazing Staff and Service!!

The rooms were a little pricey, but the service was exceptional!! We have stayed here before so we knew it was a very nice and clean place. It is also in the area of town we needed to be in. The customer service literally blew us away!! From the breakfast staff, registration, to the cleaning staff. EVERYONE went out of their way to make our stay really nice!!

The hotel service was great. Great check-in and breakfast staff. Good breakfast for the family. My only complaints are the condition or the room. The room was very humid and moist and the bathroom sink drained very slowly. The hotel is clean but could stand to be updated.

Nice but some problems

Overall a nice, clean hotel in the midst of a big visit during a huge high school track meet. It was tough to regulate the room temp, even by turning system off. It was freezing! So maybe taking a warm shower would help? The water temp was way to cold. Would have given it a higher rating but comfort at the price is important.
