Place was clean, well located, good staff, decent breakfast. But I hate this policy: if you stay for 2 nights, they will not clean your room for the 2nd night. They will give you clean towels IF you ask at the desk. IMHO, if you pay full price for two nights, you should get a clean room BOTH nights. I don't care if they use the same sheets, but they should come in, make up the beds, replenish the coffee/tea, and give you clean towels and take the dirty ones away. If not, they must tell you they will not clean the 2nd night.

The cleanliness factor was very low. The rooms were dirty. The walls were disgusting, vents were nasty, and the overall condition of our room was run down. We will not be staying here again.

Perfect location to make a quick visit to LCU for sports. Living room area allowed for visitors to spend time without being in the bedroom. Staff was super nice and room was standard but met expectations with cleanliness and amenities.

Good facilities for a quick night stop
One of their older facilities and rooms are a bit dark. Beds were comfortable and front desk was very accommodating. Breakfast was OK.

I had requested 2 queen beds. Gave me a king and sofa bed. Ask why at the front desk. She said because I booked with Travelocity. I get whatever they have. I do not think is right. It took about 15 minutes to check in because the system was not working

We have never experienced a weekend like this one! We couldn’t sleep with Al the noise in the parking lot, people drinking & singing like it was a bar. Other people were smoking weed with their children around on top of all of that we had to evacuate the building because someone left a pan on the stove and I guess it caught on fire. We didn’t even get to eat breakfast, I don’t know if it was because of the time change or because we got up late, so we had to go out and eat else where. Like I said “I have never had a weekend like this one!”

Great and clean, but needs some updating,
Great staff, clean property. My only complaint would be that it isn’t updated and furnishings seem old. Everything else was wonderful!

I stayed 2 days, and enjoyed everything about this hotel. They didn't have my requested room, so they upgraded me to a 2 room suite! It was beautiful, and quiet. Also, they did daily housekeeping, something you don't get anymore anywhere else. Very great staff, good breakfast, easy to get to and close to everything in Lubbock.

disappointing
everyone working at the hotel was friendly and welcoming but the room was really gross and the tub wouldn't empty. We requested maintenance on the window shades as well as the tub but even after 3 days they did not work on anything. there was stuff on the walls and it was uncomfortable to be in the room because it was so gross.

In the mornings, the hot water was in and out. Also, one night they left the parking lot lights on all night which made it seem like daytime when the light was shining through the window. Other than that, great hotel. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Would stay here again.

Softball stay
Hotel stay overall was great. Staff was friendly, my kids love the breakfast. Comfy beds but the pillows were not very comfortable. It is an older building but very clean.

This property is very dated, not kept up and dirty. We had several rooms in our party and each room was dirty and half the amenities, like TV/phones, were broken. Staff was friendly enough, but not enough to compensate for the condition of the rooms, especially for the extremely high rate we all paid. I would never rebook at this property.

Good, but needs improvement.
Overall, not a bad experience. Staff was very personable. The room was clean, except a load of dirty dishes in the dishwasher. We ran it and moved on. There was lots of trash plied on the very full trash can right outside the main entrance to the building, making a not so great impression. Good, but could be a lot nicer with some attention to details.

Checked into this hotel on July 18 in Lubbock, Tx. I was not told at check in there was no TV service in the hotel rooms. Alos there were no slip strips in the shower, and the furniture was sub standard, with tape trying to hold chest drawers closed and it failed, plus the disposal was broken.

Could have been better
The hotel was overbooked. Did not get the number of beds we prepaid for. Air conditioner is loud. Cable TV was out for the whole hotel. Walls need a fresh coat of paint.

Overnight stay
We needed an overnight stay and this is the place. We had a good nights sleep and the breakfast was better than expected. The only disappointment was the pool was out of order. But, that’s not enough to make the stay unpleasant. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
