Overall it was mostly good, nice room, good central location etc., however two very disappointing points: 1. the wifi in my room cut out. The reception told me that the nearest router was in a neighbour's room and as I was the only one affected and it was night time, I had to suck it up until it sorted itself out. They wouldn't disturb the neighbour to reset the router (or tell me which room it was in), even though the reception told me it could have been caused by that particular guest turning the router off. So that guest can adversely affect my experience in the hotel, but I can't interrupt their privacy and ask them to turn it back on? As an international traveller I needed wifi to finish work, contact my family, find out more about Lubbock etc. so it was fairly annoying. Routers should be in a neutrally accessible location. 2. there was a cockroach in the breakfast buffet. Enough said.

Good for the price

The hotel was great for the price nice cheap place to stay the night, the staff was amazingly helpful.

i would recommend. pool was closed- disappointing. Staff was nice. Terrible location, only a walmart nearby.

Okay For The Price

About what you would expect for the price. It's an older hotel in a questionable neighborhood. The only problem we experienced was being unable to check in until hours after check-in time due to our room not being cleaned. Other people experienced the same issue. We were told there were 4 maids for 88 rooms.

Pros: Unfortunately nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Very rundown location. Surrounding area is questionable.
Hotel is very unkept and staff is less than helpful. Our room was not fully cleaned during our stay. Beds were not made and the room didn't appear to be vacuumed. A group of partiers kept us up a lot of the second night. One of them threw up in front of our room. In the morning, when we asked the front desk to have someone come clean it, they tried to get us to wait an hour until house keeping came in.

Can't complain for the price.

Check in was quick and painless which goes a long way with me. Staff was polite. Hotel was fairly empty. The room was just an average old room. Nothing special. Clean but little definciancies here and there. Light bulb missing, finicky tv remote, etc.

One of few motels on north end of Lubbock.

Pros: Location
Cons: Do maintenance. Bathroom sink drain leaked onto floor. Outside walkways uneven due to weathering.
Location: Located on north side of Lubbock. Easy to go north or northwest. Restaurant, Walgreens, and WalMart within walking distance.
Chose this because of location. Easy to go on to NM from here. Place is quite old and has not had much upgrading. Desk people pleasant. Occupancy quite low.

All of the exterior of the hotel looks somewhat dated, the rules were certainly clean and up-to-date the beds are comfortable and overall it was a positive experience.
