Great dining and drink options. The staff is a bit slow so the wait takes a bit to get food. The room was very clean and comfortable, we had a city view which was pretty at night. It is expensive I will say, considering how old everything seems. Some of wood the furniture in the room is splintering off or has damage from previous tenants or wear and tear. Just because of how expensive it is a night I may try a Hilton the next time I travel to Lubbock to compare the two.

First time staying at this hotel. Very nice hotel! Excellent amenities. Great restaurant and coffee. Jim was very nice too. Will be staying again. Next time. I am in Lubbock.

Over priced, no microwave, no house keeping for 3 days and requested for my room to be clean and agreed, however, no one came to even change the bed sheets or towers for 3 days! Just a horrible experience, however, the bar and staff were really nice!

Very close to Texas Tech. Neat. Beautiful hotel and Breakfast was good. I loved everything about the hotel. Would stay here again.

Because our reservation was made with expedia they move our room so they can give priority to other reservation. Terrible experience. We have stayed here so many times and definitely this is our last time!

Everyone was very friendly and ready to help with all of my requests. The room was a little bit dated, but it was very comfortable. The location was perfect.

The hotel was very clan and quiet. All employees were extremely helpful. I will book with Overton every chance I get. I was able to work in my room without any distractions and the bed was a nice end to the evening.

Staff was great. Located very close to Texas Tech if you are visiting. Clean hotel. This hotel does not have free breakfast, it does have a restaurant though.

Amazing hotel stay! Beautiful and so CLEAN! Very nice rooms, gorgeous views from higher floors. Public areas were immaculately kept. Live entertainment at the bar. We will be back!

The stay was amazing! I was just upset at myself and the hotel charging $61 for breakfast to be brought to my room.
I should have asked more details about the breakfast but I didn’t.

Not so new room
The lobby and exterior of the hotel are great, but the hall on our floor as well as the room we had was a bit tired. The AC was loud and didn’t cool very well, the pillows were super lumpy, the tub was stained, and the furniture just felt old and used. We also could clearly hear everything from the hall rooms around us and unfortunately we had a neighbor who watched TV all night very loudly…. Last heard when it woke me up at 4:45am. Wish it had been a more comfortable experience.

It's a pleasant building with elegant interiors. Convenient to Texas Tech. Only real problem was that Sunday evening the restaurant was chaotic supposedly because three kitchen employees failed to show up.
