Nice room

Posted Jul 11, 2017
The room was clean and comfortable and very nice. I forgot to bring toothpaste with me and they kindly provided me with toothpaste. The parking was spacious and it was close to a majority of the restaurants! I was very satisfied with the stay!

Nothing worked.

Posted May 30, 2017
Pros: It was close to the places we needed to be.
Cons: Every thing. Starting with honesty of the people at the check in desk. They could have told us about the things that don't work when we checked in.
Location: It's by the high way so its convent. But then again the rest of our family stayed at another hotel just 5 min. away. We should have stayed there.
Check in was fast. But once we got to the room we noticed a big hole in the wall and food in the fridge. That was just the beginning. When we went to the hot tub it didn't work. So we tried the sauna... that didn't work. The pool was way to cold to swim in. Back to the room we went to take a shower. No pressure in the shower unless you want'ed a cold one. We had to take baths to get clean. Coffee maker didn't work to well it sprayed water all over the place. They made the beds but that was it... no fresh towels or even empty the ashtrays they didn't replace the coffee we tried to have in the mornings. When I asked about all this they did nothing but ask if we wanted another room.

Not as nice as pictures portray

Wonderful accommodating staff and great pool. Other than that, the whole place is dirty and unkept.

Room fine, hotel crumbling

Posted May 17, 2017
Once in the room all was right, but the hotel hallways, lobby and courtyard nearly resemble an abandoned resort in the Catskills.

Quiet but close to amenities

Posted May 16, 2017
Pros: Staff
Cons: Improvements in progress
The hotel was undergoing some renovations - they however did not inconvenience their guests and prior to check in quests were informed of the renovations giving time to change you mind on staying. The hotel was clean and comfortable and excellent staff. Value for money.

Terrible smells in this hotel - lobby smelled like chlorine from the pool in the lobby and our room (a non smoking room) made us gag because of the smoke smell. It's a cheap hotel so the price was right but we definitely were grossed out here

The only problem was on Saturday night, I was in the second floor, and someone in there had a dog that was barking until midnight

We are so sorry to hear about your experience. At Red Roof, we'll do whatever it takes to make you feel comfortable. We're also a pet friendly hotel and believe just because you’re furry, shouldn’t mean you have to spend the night in the car. Being a busy weekend night, clearly someone was not being a well-behaved pet/service dog. We apologize for this and will do more to encourage our guests to travel responsibly with their pets. Thank you.

Decent place to stay and friendly staff.

I just got a job in Lubbock and the town house we are renting was being renovated. What was supposed to take a week ended up taking 2 1/2, The staff at the Redroof Inn were amazing. Alexandria and Pam were great and always made sure we were fed and had a decent breakfast bar. This is by far the nicest Redroof Inn I've ever stayed at (and I used to be a consultant staying in hotel rooms for 6 months in week increments), Don't get me wrong it's no 5 star Hyatt, but anyone who pays this cheap of a price and expects anything like that has unrealistic expectations. They are dog friendly and the staff fell in love with my Australian Shepherd and my fiance's English bulldog. I would recommend this place for anyone on a budget and looking for a safe and decent place to stay especially for the money,
