know I remember why I dont stay in motels
something was going on in Lubbock this week and there was no rooms. I had to reserve here..and when arrived she could not find me and said they now had no rooms. after 20 min they finally found reservation. The hotel was clean I guess for the type of hotel it was. but can use touch ups. I cancelled my reservation after one day and went to where I normally stay .. they refunded my money . but I was charged 149.00 dollars for one night due to the price hikes from that week.. and the rate stated 49.99. I checked into the Marriott for the rest of my stay at 106 per night.

The Owner thought I worked for HER!
Well First off we reserved a room for 4 and we were only given 1 wash rag. I asked for 3 more and was told I needed to leave a deposit for them. UMM NO! The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night I called for batteries and was told they had none. We disconnected it. We reminded them the next morning we needed batteries to be changed we returned to the room 10 hours later and still no batteries. I called and she asked me if I could get them. UMMM NO. The breakfast was toast or a waffle. We were told it had eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit and yogurt. UMMM NO! NEVER EVER WILL I STAY HERE AGAIN

Old and run down.
I would not recommend this hotel. The room was very old and reeked of cigarettes. The blow dryer didn't work, there was half a roll of toilet paper, the towels were torn and stained, the "full" breakfast was toast and a banana, the towel bars were broken, many of the electrical outlets didn't work, etc. Pay a little more and stay elsewhere!

It was an aweful. The rooms were filthy. The bed, the carpet, the curtains had stains and it smelled like smoke. The front door had graffiti. Overall it was terrible. Don't stay there.

Air conditioner leaked water all over the carpet. Room was smelly because of the wet carpet. Holes where in the curtains. The towel rack was torn out of the wall.

Want stay again.
Not bad for what we paid. We had everything we needed but an iron which was provided when we asked. The breakfast left a lot to be desired Towels are not readily available. Had to ask for more pillows. If you just want to sleep and shower go for it. Bed was comfortable.

Not particularly good but it wasn't expensive either so I wasn't expecting much. However, I was not expecting a lukewarm shower at best when there was plenty of hot water in the sink. Maybe I should have showered in the sink instead. Also, petty though it may be, the wi-fi was particularly slow.

THE FRONT LOBBY SMELLED LIKE SMOKE, THE STAFF WOULDN'T GIVE US CLEAN TOWELS UNTIL THEY COUNTED THE DIRTY ONES WE GAVE THEM. THEY ALSO CHARGE A $20 DEPOSIT IF YOU BOOK THE HOTEL THROUGH A THIRD PARTY.

Not a happy camper!
No way will I ever stay here again! Even though the gm and his wife were super nice, finding drug paraphernalia between the mattress and box springs is not my idea of fun or cleanliness. The wife of the gm came to the room and removed it immediately but nothing else was done. If there had been another hotel that was not at capacity, I would have left. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper!

l went in room and walked right out. room was disgusting and they refused to refund. had to pay for another hotel. at least hotels.com reimbursed me for the night because I am a gold member. otherwise it would have been out of my pocket.

Bed was nice. Carpet and much of woodwork stained, cracked,rotted. Door facing looked like it had been mashed in once. Staff nice. Would never stay there again. Bad neighborhood. Noisey

The title says it all. There's a long list of issues(lights don't work, no non-smoking rooms but they advertised they had some, wet carpet, climate control couldn't be adjusted, it was either hot or cold, tv channel guide totally inaccurate, and more

NEVER AGAIN, camp at Buffalo Springs if you must
We had a double / 2 queens, beds comfy, A/C worked well, nice charging ports for phones....however, carpet was nasty, and it had sticky stains in numerous places. Towels were like something you would find in a High school locker room, worn thin and dingy grey. Floor in bathroom looked clean except behind the door and in the corners it was very grimy. Towel rack had been broken and re-attached very crooked and with the old anchor still hanging on the wall. Stairs to the 2nd level were dangerous, jagged rusted metal edges, rubber covering peeling up.. Web site advertised breakfast, as did the LED sign in the P-lot. NOT, the woman at the desk on Saturday AM offhandedly said they discontinued that two months ago.???!!!! Questionable characters hanging around during the day and night, so we hung the do not disturb sign and left the TV on when we were gone. (Consequently we did not get any more of the lovely towels.) We were told by locals not to answer any knock on the door at night due to drug dealing issues. Lots of trash or maintenance material / old vacuums just laying around the sides of the building, stairwells.Our rate of over $100 per night was good considering it was a home game weekend, but...the price advertised on the sign in the p-lot was $59.00 for a double. RIP OFF EXPEDIA !!

This was likely once a nice little motel. Sadly it has been neglected and is now run down, shoddy and falling apart. It is our understanding it was previously an Econo Inn. The new owners have obviously not had time to make the many repairs necessary. Cleanliness is spotty based on our experience and that of other family members also staying there. Contrary to advertisement, there is NO free breakfast. We refrained from trying any of the other amenities such as Wi-Fi, microwave and safe. Knowing what we now know we would have spent a few dollars more and gone elsewhere.

This place is filthy!
This place is a dump and did not deliver what it said. Upon arrival it looked like the scene of a bad horror movie, but I thought never judge a book by its cover. The lobby is in definite need of repairs and there were serious water stains on the ceilings and walls. Didn't realize it was a smoking hotel room or I never would have the reservation. Another thing it said free breakfast was included, but when asked I was informed they only serve coffee. Both beds in the room were filthy! One had crumbs and some red sticky looking substance and the other had a foot print on it. The fridge smelled and had rusty water pooled in it, but the worst part was the freezer portion had black mold spores growing in. When I found a gentleman that was cleaning the rooms and told him I needed my room cleaned he literally brushed the beds off with his hand, and said it's good. We picked up our bags and headed back to the check out. I had no desire to stay in this establishment. The front end manager said she would give me another room, but seeing how the cleaning staff "cleaned" the first room I made a new reservation. I was still charged for the room, and they charged me an extra $1.

Rude staff, smoking everywhere
We were treated rudely from the moment we set foot in the lobby. The lobby incidentally reeked of smoke. I had made the reservation but my traveling partner was paying. We had chosen to pay at the hotel but when we informed the desk clerk of it he seem intent on making us pay cash. Three time he asked if we were paying cash, he begrudgingly accepted a credit card as payment. It felt very fishy. I had requested a non-smoking room and reiterated the request at check in. The room we got had a faint odor of smoke. In the morning when my friend went down to get coffee in the lobby he was treated very rudely by a different clerk. When he asked why he was treated so rudely she replied that homeless people sometimes can in and tried to get free coffee? I seriously doubt if I will ever stay in a Rodeway Inn again. Hopefully this is just a Lubbock phenomena. Ratings in that town seemed pretty dismal. The "featured" deal on Travelocity that day was a Red Roof Inn with a 2.1 rating. This Rodeway had a 2.9, I can't imagine what the 2.1 would have been like!

I was not impressed with this place. The staff was not very friendly. We reserved a room with two beds for 4 adults. The room was ok. The only problem with it was that there were only 2 towels in the room with 4 adults. When we asked the front desk for more towels, the lady just told us "no we have no more towels. We have not washed them yet."

Not recommended.
Carpet stained, no toilet paper holder, bed 3 1/2 feet above floor level. I am 4 ft. 9 in. tall and had to stand on my suitcase to get in and out of bed. At age 82 that was a problem. Communication problems with mgr/owner, limited English spoken. Will not revisit (there were 4 adults in our party). If we had not already paid for our return stopover we would not have returned to this facility. Advertised free breakfast and coffee - nothing at all provided for breakfast, told "no more" on second cup of coffee. Not recommended.

Undoubtedly the dirtiest hotel room I have ever seen. No light bulbs in sockets, missing handles from drawers. Stains on walls, curtains , counters, carpet. Brought my concerns to desk help. Their Response "Really?"

We booked this hotel because it was a brand name chain. It was gross and the franchise should be revoked. Room smelled of stale smoke and grime. Toilet had black ring and red stripes - not only dirty but had not been flushed in months. Broken mirror. Hair dryer ripped off wall. Baseboard hanging under sink. Patched hole in wall behind door. No light bulb in lamp by bed, other one did not work. Bathroom electric plugs did not work, nor did other electric recepticle in bed area. One plug that did work had a 5 slot extension that was "hot". Frig broken. Asked for another room and they said they were all booked (Really???). We had prepaid. I wanted to sleep in our vehicle. Would have started to drive homeward but had morning commitment.
