Great location in fantastic walled city of Lucca. Just a couple of blocks from the entrance through the wall to Lucca. Room was very large, had a kitchen and was clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful, and did everything we asked. Would stay again! Loved non-touristy Lucca.

we chose B&B Arcobaleno because it was within walking distance oof the old city and railway station. Trains to Pisa (city & airport) and Florence are frequent & quick.
Not a B&B in Blackpool terms as it is self-contained with its own sitting/dining room & bathroom. It's comfortable & quiet.
It is run by a mother & daughter. The day before we were leaving we told them our train left at 7:30am so don't bother with breakfast. "No", they insisted, and served breakfast at 6:30.
We would go back again.

What a find! A beautiful apartment located in the centre of the Old Town. Clean, fresh, every amenity catered for. We had our teenager travelling with us and he slept on the fold out sofa in the lounge room. Would definitely stay here again!

I was attracted to this B&B by its name and the photos of the rooms that I saw on the Expedia Website; it was the one B&B/hotel in Lucca that really stood out. I certainly made the right decision, for this B&B is truly beautiful and we were made extremely welcome. Franca, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Her English is good (although she does not think so), which was an advantage for us, as Italian is not our strong point. I would highly recommend Antica Corte dei Principi, and would not stay at another B&B/hotel in Lucca, having found such a perfect one.

Wonderful hotel in a quiet street in the heart of Lucca, near the amphiteatro. The rooms are beautifully decorated with frescos, comfortable and with all facilities. Breakfast is a highlight with choices to suit everyone. The staff are friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. One of the best hotels we have stayed in anywhere.

This is a charming Palazzo that has been converted into a hotel.
- The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. - Bathrooms are also great.
- Location is very central so you walk to everything within 10-15 min. Many great restaurants, shops and cafes within 2-3 min walk at the main piazza of Lucca.
- air conditioning works well
- beds are large and comfortable
The manager, Anna, and all of the staff are equally great. She emailed us within hours of booking to help us figure out how to get to the hotel, gave us a personal check in and tour of the hotel and is a pleasure to meet. I can't say enough about how great the staff is.
