“The room is big, clean and well-equipped. The tiny garden just outside breakfast area is beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast is simple but fresh. Staff are nice and helpful on giving information and advice, e.g. Elena is hard-working and problem-solving. Manuela cooks for guests' breakfast. Paolo drove me to the train station when he saw my big luggage and knew that my backbond suffered from pain. This hotel is not in the very center of Lucca but still convenient enough, as the old town which is……

“This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Lucca, 10 minutes from the station, although a little climb to get through the city walls. The continental breakfast was welcome, although a little strange that you had to approach the staff for a coffee or hot water rather than the other way round.”

“Good value, comfortable stay 12 minute walk from Lucca station and an easy walk into the city. We had a spacious, very comfortable room with aircon. Breakfast was good enough to get the day started.
