This was our first time in Munich. Couldn't have made a better choice in our hotel booking. Very central just opposite the central train station and around 2 blocks from the bus central station. Minutes by walk to the famous Marienplatz. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Would highly recommend.

This is a very modern hotel with clean rooms and friendly reception staff. It is basic but in a very good location and only 5 minutes from the central station. I found the bed to be very hard and not too comfortable but other than that, the hotel has everything that you need. There is no tea or coffee or water provided in the room but you can purchase coffee from a machine on the ground floor. The key thing to note, if you are a lone female, is that the hotel is right in the middle of the 'red light district' and so it doesn't feel particularly safe in that respect. I was very nervous to go out during the evening on my own but it was fine during the day.

We were allowed early check-in and after a long flight that was just absolutely perfect. Just for that we'd give them a perfect score already. The gentleman at the reception, we didn't get his name, was very helfpul. They have a nice selection for breakfast. The hotel location is very convenient and close to the train station. Arrows can be found on the station to tell you which direction to go but unluckily the stairs we chose the first time didn't have that, maybe because it's the wrong way or not the most convenient way to go. Maybe a sign could be added to say used the other stairs? I was just also surprised that the station didn't have elevators or a ramp at least. I don't think it's accessible to people on wheelchairs. If this is in another country I know, people would be shouting discrimination and will be suing the government or whoever is managing the station. Apart from that, we don't really have anything to complain about
and that's not even the hotel's fault.

We had two days in Munich and chose the hotel based on it's proximity to the center of town, as well as the great rate we got. We arrived several hours before check-in, but they held all of our stuff until it was time, so we could go explore. They were friendly and helpful in telling us where to go, gave us a map, and answered all questions. The only issue we had was that the air conditioning did not appear to work in the room so it became very warm. We noticed this on the last night, so we didn't say anything, but it made the room quite stuffy.
Don't know much about the area of Munich it's in, but there isn't a ton nearby (2-5 minute walk) in terms of grabbing quick food. However, it's a 15-20 minute walk to the Glockenspiel and all of the shopping, churches, beer halls, etc. so if you're looking for all of that, this is a perfect place to stay.
Overall, nice, friendly, helpful, and in a good location for the price.
