Great hotel in Lusaka

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Lusaka on a 1 night stopover after being on safari. The hotel is great, shuttle service from/to the airport, the rooms a spotless and the bed and shower are "heaven". The dinner and breakfast I had in the dining room were excellent and the customer service and friendliness of all the staff was wonderful. I highly recommend the hotel.

It was was lovely stay, very comfortable. Can do with some basic amenities such as slippers, Hangers etc Was very disappointed, with the quality of the meals, I ordered a Goat Curry, which was not prepared according to the menu. The FB team acknowledged and apologized.

The service was exceptional. All staff members, without exception, were friendly and helpful, professional and courteous. My room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and bed linen was luxurious. This was the first hotel that I can remember staying in where the pillows were marked soft or firm. It was also a rare luxury to have a light duvet that matched exactly the weather.

Chair upgrade suggestions

It was great. The only suggestion is to do something with the chair in the room - it's very heavy and extremely loud when being moved. I could hear neighbors from above moving the chair and it always made me jump.

The location is great, not too far from anywhere in town. The hotel is still fairly new and the feel nice finishings is superb. Food is good too, only downside is it takes a while to prepare. Otherwise the overall stay was good. Staff were friendly and I would stay there again on my next business trip
