Good stay
Very good location just a short walk from the city center and a few meters from the tram stop. Clean, rooms on the small side, good breakfast. Only problem, the room was too warm.

Nice and easy
Large room and bathroom, bed and pillows were too hard for me. Room was warm, but no view if you were in the back. Great location and easy parking access.

Great accessibility by public transport and foot. Close to a nice park to get outside for some fresh air. In the annex, hallways can be noisy and echoing and there is no view and limited light from the room I had, but it was functional for what I needed. (And they made an effort to make it more appealing with a mural… fun touch!) Appreciated having a kettle and very small fridge. Gym is small and basic, but again, had what I really needed. Everything was clean and housekeeping was very good. For the price, I was satisfied!

Deeply Unpleasant
Booked as it seemed a reasonable price for a 4 star hotel, and while not in the centre, only a ten minute walk away. The reality is after checking in, I had to cross the busy road to the "annexe" building... I guess this was once a different hotel that Best Western have purchased. The room was very old fashioned - think 70's style wood furniture. I was not impressed to find a clump of the previous occupants hair on the floor (tiled, so easy to clean). The bed was tiny (single), the aircon unit gurgled all night, and the building was noisy with other people on the stairwell coming in after what was obviously a great night for them... so much so that I had to ask them to be quiet. Breakfast was very average, with the cleaner literally cleaning around people with some disgusting looking rag stinking of industrial disinfectant. Honestly it's hard to see where the 4 stars have come from - maybe 25 years ago they qualified. However, the standard is poor and felt more like a good effort in an economically deprived country than a 4 star in an economic centre of Europe. Cheap for a reason - best avoided.

Luxembourg Great but expensive
It was an excellent stay at the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel is clean and bedroom clean - cleaners do a great job. It’s only 10 minute walk to the main centre with the shops and restaurants- not far at all. My only complaint is the noise from the street. Without shutting your window you will get an early wake up call but the air con in the room is great. The area is also really nice with the university close by and beautiful gardens.

Staff is always very friendly and ready to assist in any way they can regarding any issues you may face, even if it has nothing to do with your stay at the hotel. Breakfast is awesome, lots of variety and is very well attended by the staff to be sure it is always full and clean the area several times per hour. Rooms are clean and typical of a European hotel room. There is a small bar downstairs and chairs/tables where you can hold a meeting with another person. The rooms facing the street are a bit noisier than the ones on the other side of the building. There is a gym downstairs and also a sauna but did not try either. The hotel is well located for a transfer between the train station and the airport. Lots of buses going around and the tram stops is less than fifty meters. Lots of dining options around the hotel.

Easy access by tram from central station, or by bus (16) from airport. Lots of food venues to pick from (Japanese, French, Italian, etc). It is a small hotel so less chances to get noisy. I had a room with view on the streets so you can hear the traffic and the people from the street. I am staying again at that hotel in a week and will request a room not giving on the street and will see if it makes a difference. Breakfast is great with a wide variety of choices. The breakfast area is refresh constantly with new items and cleaned on a regular basis. The size of the rooms are typical for a European hotel. Only one elevator which, during check in/out can get really busy especially when you're on the top floor. Front desk is slow both for check in and check out so give yourself plenty time when checking out, especially if you have a taxi or a train/flight to catch.

Wonderful Hotel
My one-night stay at Best Western Plus Grand Hotel was excellent. Customer service was outstanding-I had an issue with turning on the heat and the front desk lady crossed the street and came to my room to turn it on. The room had everything I needed including a hot water kettle to make coffee or tea. Everything was quite clean especially the bathroom-loved their shower. It is quite easy to get from the central train station to the hotel-take the Tram1 and it will leave you across the street from the hotel. Taxis are quite expensive as I learned the hard way-25 euros for a ride from the train station to the hotel, which was about 1.4 miles or about 5 stops on the tram.

One night for work. Room was basic but clean and good black out blinds. Pretty surprised to be charged €3 for small water in the room. Good central location with great sushi over the road

This was a ver nice hotel with extremely friendly staff and a tasty breakfast. It is perfectly situated right off of the Theater stop on the tram so very easy to navigate around the city.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Location is close by tram and bus routes making travel to airport and all parts of the city very easy. We were only on a short break and spent little time in the hotel, so did not make use of all the facilities. But it was clean and perfect for our needs. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Good Location for Luxembourg City Centre
The hotel is a good location 5-10 minutes walk from the City Centre. The room was a good size and comfortable, although the noise from other residents in the corridor could be a bit disturbing. Breakfast was OK - not a lot hot for vegetarians (eggs!) and none for vegans. I failed to find the remote control for the television, although this was not an issue and I would have contacted reception if I had wanted to watch, but it seemed odd. There was only fruit tea and powdered creamer in the room supplies - a bigger range of tea and some UHT milk would have been good. I think the towels were replaced each day (either that or the used ones were folded beautifully!) and there seemed no easy way to stop this (some hotels ask you to leave towels on the floor if you want them replaced). I would have happily kept the same towels for my stay and reduced the environmental overhead

Well located, pleasant hotel. Rooms are nice, comfortable bedding, decent breakfast. Wellness area pleasant and nice to use. Drawbacks: if you intend to work in the so-called “business center”, consisting of a PC near the bar in the lobby, think again. Noise levels are unbeatable in the morning, around lunchtime and early afternoon. After checking out you will need to go elsewhere to work. Constructions are going on in the building next door, making sleeping after 7am impossible.

The hotel was nice. The room I was in was in the anex across the road. Hotel was walking distance of the main city centre. There was an issue when we checked in as I had booked a twin room, however the hotel had it down as a double and there was no twin rooms, or staff available to split the bed. However this was done the very next day when housekeeping were available

The staff at the check in desk were always so helpful and friendly - printing train tickets, providing maps and giving information about this lovely city. A superb location in a very safe area. The rooms were incredibly clean. I would definitely stay here again!
