Adequate hotel near the interesting stuff

Room was hot as a furnace and came with an AC unit that produced a noise like a cement mixer. Although staff agreed this was a problem they were unable to furnish us with a new unit or a new room and instead provided a fan. This resulted in rather sleepless nights as the room windows open into a narrow airshaft where the air is much hotter than outside so opening the window or running a fan doesn't help much, you *need* something that reduces the tempreture. On the street ~20C, in the room (per the broken air conditioner) 27C. Staff assured us they had no available rooms but the internet claimed there were some available to book. Not impressive.
Other than that breakfast was good, room was not fancy but perfectly adequate, and it was an easy walk to visit all the interesting old parts, the Grund, etc.
