Great stay.
The Grand Hotel Cravat is a lovely hotel in a great location. It feels a bit dated, but that adds to the charm of it. The front desk staff was extremely helpful during the stay: securing a taxi for me at 3:30am and having a to-go bag of breakfast items packed since I had to miss the breakfast buffet. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious. My only complaint was the room heat/air was difficult to figure out and a ceiling or table fan would have been nice to help circulate the air. Overall, I definately recommend this hotel.

We loved the location of this hotel in the heart of Luxembourg City near so many great restaurants! The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is loud at night, especially on weekends, and gets hot in the rooms. Other than that, great experience!

Great breakfast and friendly staff. The lobby and hallways are nicely decorated. The hotel has an older style and has furniture from another era. If you are looking for an elegant atmosphere, different from modern hotels, while still being comfortable, this hotel won’t disappoint. I recommend to book a city view room. There was a fresh apple for every guest in the room every day. I had an issue with the room that I was checked in and although I had to ask for it to be looked into, staff were very accommodating and resolved the issue. The location is excellent for sightseeing and enjoying the city.

Great Location, Good vibe
Neat older hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Pillows were a bit flat but extras were provided. Nice breakfast room with a good selection of foods. The manager of the breakfast room was very nice and attentive. The front desk clerk upon checking in wasn't so friendly. Seemed annoyed when we asked questions. Over all a great stay. We would stay there again.

Third generation, historic property. Very convenient to the old city. Nicely maintained. Good size room. Very clean. Quiet. However, my room looked out on an air shaft which was a disappointment. I would have much preferred an external window. Apart from that it was a great stay.

Just around the corner from passport renewal. That made it extremely convenient for this task. Wonderful room on the fifth floor with a wraparound balcony and views of the plaza!

This hotel was just fantastic. Huge comfortable and clean rooms. Old fashioned decor and furnishings but spotless and not 'tired'. Friendly and courteous staff. Ideal location. Delicious breakfast in a fancy room. Lots of finishing touches. I would definitely stay here again.

the interior of this place is uniquely very pretty. the rooms are spacious, everything you need is available. I didn't like: we had the doors locked in the morning and were still sleeping when the cleaning service knocked in the morning. after we didn't answer, the knocking was more a heavy banging on the door, trying to open the door forcefully and screaming from 2 people.

Great location, bright and airy room with a nice view and European feel. Helpful staff. One drawback is no Air Conditioning which made it quite uncomfortable for sleeping. Hotel did provide a fan upon request, however 30 temperatures require AC. Mattress was not the best, only duvet provided in the excessive heat (a sheet would have been preferable). Better air circulation is required in the bathroom.

This hotel is right in the middle of everything. It is an experience to stay at a grand hotel with this much history. There is some traffic noise associated with staying in the middle of a city.

The hotel was at a very convenient location next to the old city and major attractions. The receptionist and the person who brought breakfast to the room were super helpful which made my stay at the Cravat great despite the premises itself is becoming old. I am coming again.

Super friendly staff and service. Amazing location - central to everything. But hotel is very dated, a bit run down, rooms are small, and very noisy with window open (necessary since there is no A/C).

AVOIDE, not a four start, two!
Poor! The hotel faces onto a busy road 24/7 and a bar playing music way too late. No aircon so room boils, have to have windows open....no sleep, so moved to rear room - no outside window... plus, no milk for coffee, wb plumbed in wrong way, wc similar, one pillow each, worn carpets, bed side light not working. This is a four star hotel, it should be a two AVOIDE!
