Friendly, helpful staff. Nice old school hotel.

Pros: Its old-world charm
Location: Couldn't say, as I arrived late and left early
Only stayed for one night on business. Found staff pleasant and helpful, particularly in the restaurant. Room clean and comfortable.

Amazing hotel. Good breakfast, bath tub in the room, very central location, extremely polite staff ( especially the gentleman from Kosovo at the reception)

Best location and friendly staff.

The check staff were so friendly and we were made to feel most welcome. The hotel is located in the best position and at this time of year the Christmas Market view was postcard perfect.

Excellent location near the old town.

Posted Dec 10, 2016 on Hotels
A hotel in a good location, next to Cathedrale Notre-Dame and opposite a Christmas market. Great staff, met in reception by Marion with a large smile and free cocktail vouchers on arrival. (May have been because it was my wifes' birthday). This hotel has old charm which is what we were looking for. OK Carpets a bit old,but not worn, a little bit of white gloss here and there wouldn't go amiss.

Lovely hotel, right in the heart of town.

Posted Nov 29, 2016
Pros: Central position, traditional features, lovely open fires in lobby.
Cons: More daylight into the central rooms.
Location: Golden lady and views of the valley. Cathedral and shopping centre
Great weekend, comfortable room, large bathroom and helpful staff. Beautiful original features. Only downside was that my room had no natural light, so felt dark most of the day.

Solid 3, not 4 stars!

Posted Nov 14, 2016
Pros: It's a great location, safe, near public transit, sightseeing buses, and great dining and nightlife. There were signs in the hotel of its one-time opulence, in the decorations and ambiance, but it clearly has seen much better days.
Cons: The hotel ads/brochures/website oversell this hotel. It has no restaurant, apparently it's been closed a while and there are no signs it's reopening anytime soon, and no pool, fitness room, or other amenities. Interiors, from the old and moldy carpets, to the clean but stained bathtub, to the once opulent but now outdated decorations, scream that this place has seen better days. The staff tried to be helpful, but they didn't know some basic facts about their city, like the status of sightseeing buses (closed for the winter) or local eateries (lots of good ones on the area, but no recommendations from them.) Also, when I told them more than 24 hrs in advance that I had to go home a day early because of a medical issue, my sole consolation was a six euro discount on wifi (not free at all), but full price on the room!
Location: Great location, right across from city center Constitution Square. Great restaurants abound, public transit good, and sightseeing buses stop nearby.

Dear Guest, Thank you for the time you took to put your comments. Non refundable rates can not be refunded, that is why they are cheaper. If you think that our hotel is old I would prefer you call it a vintage hotel. for sure the lady has its age but not that bad you wrote. Maybe for your needs and wishes I suggest to book next time a more modern hotel. Hope that you recoverd from illness and that you are enjoying the winter time. Best regards, Carlo Cravat

Dirty!!!! DONT STAY THERE.

Posted Nov 7, 2016 on Hotels
We'll the room was disgusting dirty!! I was so grossed out by what was on the comforter, just a visible human fluid stain, AWFUL! I asked immediately that the room be cleaned again and the bed remade with new clean bedding. All they did was come in , WHILE I was there and take the comforter and never bring any other blanket or any new sheets. NOTHING!!! I was furious. For the money i paid to stay there, awful. I will be reviewing this hotel on EVERY site with pictures to show the poor quality they offer. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Could be worst hotel in Europe

Posted Oct 17, 2016 on Hotels
Forget the pretty pictures. We were put in a tiny room barely big enough for the bed. TV did not work at all. Room looked out onto a closed court with no view except the opposite walls. Bed was old. No room to walk around or even to put suitcases. Avoid this place if you have any choice.

Dear guest, This is not correct. You book a standard room backyard and you even can see the pictures on the site. Tell the truth and all will be fine. Regards, Carlo Cravat
