The staff was great! The inside of hotel was great! The outside was a little scary at night. Adult clubs outside of hotel, and homeless was in doorways of closed businesses.

The hotel was very cute and pretty clean. Several times we walked in and there was no one at the front desk. Our ceiling appeared to have mold above the shower. Room was very small but comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere, but public transport is free if wanting to go further out. The street the hotel was on was a little bit dirty and there were a lot of strange men standing around. I would’ve been uncomfortable walking outside the hotel if by myself.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel with all you need to spent a night, very close public parking and grocery store. The city center is 7 min. Drive. Clean and confortable rooms. Professional and helpful staff.

3nights 2days in luxemburg city.
The hotel is very handy for the train station and trams and buses which are all free to travel on anywhere you like in Luxemburg. We caught the bus to Ettlebruck and then caught another to Vianden. We then went round the castle out for the day. The Ibis staff are great and very helpful the hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts had a good choice of foods. The bonus for us was that we could safely keep our Motorcycle in the underground garage which was brilliant as it has a roller shutter door that closes once you enter. We had a great stay here.

Great stay here. I had a meeting I needed to attend and was allowed to check in early which reduced so much stress. Would recommend just for the staff!

This hotel is perfect for exploring the city. Close to the station and tram stop. It has recently been beautifully refurbished so all public areas and room are lovely. Room small but had everything we needed. Beds very comfy, good wifi, strong shower, very clean. Parking a huge bonus. Very good breakfast. Hotel is on a very busy, potentially noisy street, but we managed to sleep very well.

Only a short walk from the main station which was good. Unfortunately the sound proofing was not we could hear the planes and the party outside for hours and not get to sleep.

The hotel was clearly recently renovated and the room was lovely, check in was easy and everything was very clean in the hotel. I would had liked a kettle in the room but this was the only thing I would improve.

The hotel was great value for money in a perfect location very near the main train station (airport bus drops at the station) Staff very friendly and helpful. The street where the hotel is located is noisy in the evening, which wasnt a huge issue for us. But it was slightly intimidating. I would not recommend if travelling as a young woman on your own. Which is a pity as i have no complaints about the actual hotel

Great Stay!
Lovely stay at Ibis Gare Centrale, the room was small but very clean and seemed to be all newly renovated. Bathroom was nice and new also and clean. All staff were lovely, very friendly and very helpful!

the property had an unwanted third bed (bunk) on top of the double bed which was claustrophobic and I hid my head when getting out of bed.

Water was cut while showering no one from front office or house keeping informed me there was no sign that water will.be cut for certain period of time. When i was booking my rooms it was not notified that there was construction and rennovation going on in the hotel......

Perfect short stay hotel.
The hotel's a 2 min walk to the central train station which has bus & tram stops nearby. All public transport is free, so don't pay for a transfer. The ibis is good for a short stay, but the rooms are very small, the twin beds can be moved 20cm apart maximum. Our room overlooked the front of the reception which meant noises from the strip club across the road went on until the early hours. Breakfast is good and the staff friendly.

The Staff were so welcoming towards us, it really made us feel comfortable for our first time travelling to Luxembourg. The location is close to the main town and a short 2 min walk to the shop. Excellent parking facilities. All in all, great value for money :)

Too expensive for a budget hotel
The hotel itself is on a quite sketchy street with what appeared to be gangs on street corners. We felt unsafe that we crossed the road to avoid them and did not leave the hotel late at night. All the rooms appeared to be the same size, which was quite small when you have two suitcases. The TV had only a couple of English channels and the room was a bit cold with the aircon only blowing out cold air. However, the room was clean and the shower was good with soaps and shampoos included. For the price (£87 per night) i think this was not worth it for the area. Breakfast should at least be included. They are an eco friendly hotel so they do not provide you with water bottles and tea and coffee is not available in the room and you have to go downstairs to get your free tea or coffee (only from 11am - 10pm).

Fine For One Night
Close to train station. Had what I needed. TV channels not great. Would have liked CNN or an English news channel. Only major complaint is that the large bed was positioned so close to the wall it was impossible to get my suitcase to the other side without lifting it over, which would have been difficult post-surgery. Staff was friendly and helpful. For one night, fine!

The hotel is simple and don’t have mini fridge or anything but it is pretty close to the main station. Many restaurants and supermarkets around. The old guy that was the receptionist when we arrived was amazing, trying to help us the best way possible, otherwise in the day of our departure we woke up early just to have breakfast and then get our train, but we got stopped once the lady of the reception said that the breakfast was not included in our stay. We booked this hotel just because of this facility so I showed her my reservation/confirmation and either way she kept saying that the mistake was from hotels.com (where I made the reservation) not the hotel mistake. Well, once I work with hospitality I know that consumer must be always right and for sure it wasn’t MY FAULT. So they should solve the problem with hotels.com, not me but yeah, never gonna stay in this hotel again and hope hotels.com also do something/have any attitude about this inconvenient situation.

Dear Guest, We are sorry for the disturbance but we do have informed Expedia / Hotels.com for weeks now that the information on their websites was not correct. The point is that selling a rate "including breakfast" whereas other websites and even the hotel are selling the same price without breakfast attracts more reservations... You are definitely not responsible of the mistake but this is not the hotel's responsibility either. We have no way to manage the information on other websites: we can only ask our partner to make changes and it seems that they have decided to take their time to make requested modifications... We then advise all guests in your situation to ask Expedia / Hotels.com for the refund of the breakfasts they had to pay extra once at the hotel as the information received upon reservation was definitely not correct. Once again we apologize for the inconvenience and hope that this unfortunate experience will not alter your confidence in ibis Styles hotel service. Kind regards
