THE place to stay in Luxor

Posted Aug 3, 2017
If you are going to Luxor you would be crazy not to stay here. Its much cheaper than it used to be because of lower occupancy and its still maintained its standards despite the significant slowdown in tourists.

Nice resort close to the airport

Posted Jul 29, 2017
Very clean with courteous staff and nice amenities. Rooms and bathrooms are relatively small. Wifi works well. It is difficult to find English channels on the TV, even compared to other hotels in Egypt I stayed at. Overall good resort for the price and location.

Nice Location

Posted Apr 21, 2017
Pros: Good location, swiming pool, comfortable room, friendlyness of reception staff
Cons: Spa staff- unfriendly, and unwilling to help at all. Restaurant pool service needs improvement, bad service
Location: Location was very good, near Luxor and Karnak Temple - also Airport is nearby
Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa is a nice hotel, conveniently located, near Luxor and Narnak Temple. Reception staff is wonderful!! Very helpful, and cortegeous - they really do their best to make you feel welcome and happy!!!!!! Restaurant food is good, but service needs to improve. However, plentyful breakfast, with wide selection of choices. Spa needs to improve in costumer service, staff is extremely rude, unfriendly, and unwilling to help at all - That lady seriously needs costumer services training!!!!!

Would use again in Luxor

Posted Apr 11, 2017 on Hotels
- The extra bed was really small, - the balcony is enough for just one person to stand on and overlooks a wall. - The tour operator in the hotel was dodgy and the trip i paid for on the first day I could have got at half the price i later found out. + The room was nice and big, a little dated with the furniture. + The staff were really friendly and helped a lot with my daughter who is gluten intolerant + Really welcoming hotel and wasnt too busy when we stayed. + Free wifi in room

What a Great Place to Stay!

Posted Mar 25, 2017 on CheapTickets
Pros: The people who work at the hotel. After a day or so, they called me by name.
Cons: I can't think of a thing. Perhaps to not use the travel service at the hotel - not available most of the time and not responsive. Ask for Hussein.
Location: The location is very central to the city of Luxor.
I've recently stayed at the Luxor Hilton three times in the last couple of months. I've stayed at some of the best hotels in major cities and this place meets and exceeds my expectations. What a delight! Everyone, and I mean everyone, took the time to greet me, ask me about my stay and ask if there is anything they could do for me. The property is secluded, quiet and has a lovely view of the Nile. My room was very comfortable. Room service was spot on with their service. Housekeeping make sure everything was in order from top to bottom. Also, ask for Hussein to be your driver during your visit to Luxor - he can also arrange for guides who will provide historical information and even arrange for hot air balloon rides.

The perfect hotel in luxor

Posted Feb 22, 2017
The hotel was impressive, overlooking the Nile. It is across the river from the Valley of kings which is lit at night. Both pools are heated. There are good restaurants, plenty of comfortable seating and an amazing Spa for relaxation. Taxi drives are cheap for visiting the sites - 5 hours of West Bank touring for $15. The historical sites are inexpensive $3-6 entry and you can ride a tram up to them for 25¢. Mohamed checked me in after midnight to welcome me and he was also there the morning I left to say goodbye. He remembered my name and my email when I wanted to print boarding passes. Impressive. I would definitely stay here again. It's the perfect getaway and qatar airways takes you there without going through Cairo. If you are American, you grew up learning about king tut. This is your chance to enter his tomb and see his mummy.
