Just right for Liberty intensive students.

Pros: The great internet. The friendly staff. The breakfast. The comfort of the room.
Cons: I think things were just right.
The room is always comfortable and the breakfast selection is just right. The hotel staff is warm and inviting. Plus the view of the Liberty campus is great.

Outstanding experience

Location: Views and the location are very central. I was there specifically to visit Liberty Univ. and that is what made this hotel so convenient.
From arriving, the staff was outstanding. It happened that the reservation that I made, was not accurate. The staff was amazing and not only made it right but accommodated me when the hotel was full. I was so thankful after driving 325 miles to get there. Unfortunately, I can't blame anyone but me. I may have input wrong dates but I am not sure. None the less, the staff made it all right and the hotel is absolutely outstanding.

Booked ahead for what?

Pros: Hotel was beautiful and clean. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: I booked 2 queen bed room several days in advance. When we arrived they said that there wasn't a 2 queen available and we had to accept a queen. My daughter and her friend had to sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed.

Very clean and efficient. I was traveling alone on business and felt completely safe. Staff was wonderful.

However, it could've easily been missed if you were looking for an outlet on the wall. Our room was extremely musty and moldy smelling

Our room was musty and moldy smelling, tried to run fan to get some fresh air in but it did not help. Bathtub drain was slow draining and the toilet had urine streaks on the outside. There was dust and hair on the bathroom floor under the sink and some mold around the bathtub. The beds were comfortable, it was nice to have a refrigerator in the room. Staff was pleasant, we did not care much about the continental breakfast, sausage made my husband sick, waffles were dry, even our kids did not like them. Not enough tea selection, coffee was undrinkable. We used the pool, which was nice, the area around was clean, had to fish out a big spider from the bottom on the day one, on the third day there were more hair and dirt on the bottom of the pool and the pool itself had strong chlorine smell which is usually an indication of not enough free chlorine or perhaps poor ventilation.

Great Proximity for Liberty Univ. tours,etc.

Stayed for 2 nights to tour Liberty University and the surrounding area. Great location and access to get in and out of Liberty Univ. We had a 9am tour and was on time with leaving the Hotel at 8:55...not that I recommend a 5 minute window! Front desk staff were polite and helpful as were all the staff we encountered. The only thing I noticed was that we were the only room that didn't get a newspaper???
