Our room was extremely musty and moldy smelling

Our room was musty and moldy smelling, tried to run fan to get some fresh air in but it did not help. Bathtub drain was slow draining and the toilet had urine streaks on the outside. There was dust and hair on the bathroom floor under the sink and some mold around the bathtub. The beds were comfortable, it was nice to have a refrigerator in the room. Staff was pleasant, we did not care much about the continental breakfast, sausage made my husband sick, waffles were dry, even our kids did not like them. Not enough tea selection, coffee was undrinkable. We used the pool, which was nice, the area around was clean, had to fish out a big spider from the bottom on the day one, on the third day there were more hair and dirt on the bottom of the pool and the pool itself had strong chlorine smell which is usually an indication of not enough free chlorine or perhaps poor ventilation.

Please know that we have shared your feedback with the entire Hotel team and have also individually address the housekeeping team in an effort to improve our cleanliness as well. Your experience is certainly not representative of the cleanliness or service that we strive to provide to our guests and we hope that you will consider staying with us on a future visit to Lynchburg.
