Pleasant staff, good location, awful wifi
Posted Oct 11, 2016
We booked for three nights in Lynchburg to visit sites in the area. Our room was ready when we arrived and staff very helpful and pleasant. Parking was plentiful and well lit. The room was on the small side, particularly the sink area, but served the purpose. Getting around the area to and from the hotel was a bit tricky at first but we eventually learned our way around. If you're visiting Liberty University you really couldn't get much closer. The hotel is convenient to major highways for getting out of town and visiting other sites, which was our primary purpose. The room was clean and tidy. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. My only complaint, and why I've dinged the hotel one star, is that the wifi is awful. I don't stay in hotels just because of their wifi but I had planned to use the evenings to do some work and that requires an internet connection. The wifi would initially work then just drop the connection and be unable to reconnect. This was true of my laptop, my iPad, my wife's tablet... so it wasn't just one device. Fix this Sleep In and your ratings will be higher because everything else was fine.
