The bar nearby is a bit noisy. But the overall condition is acceptable.

OkejPosted Nov 30, 2014 on Hotels

Solid value for the price.Posted Nov 27, 2014
Pros: The bed and the shower were new and clean.
Cons: There was no in-room coffee maker.
Location: Nearby Tam's Burgers serves tasty fast food for a good price. Next door there is a handy all-night laundromat. It's only a 20-minute drive to LAX.
I was delighted with my stay at the Mission Motel. When I travel I always stay at budget motels, so I've experienced a lot of places that charge about what Mission charges, often more. The Mission was better than average. The room was fitted with a mix of oldish and newish features. But none of the oldish stuff was decrepit, filthy, or embarrassing; I can't say that about most other mom-and-pop economy motels. And the newish stuff (like the shower stall, the wall-hangings and the bed) were quite nice. There was a room safe, too, which was a nice touch. However, my favorite amenity was the bed which was solid and firm. I hate the soft, fluffy mattresses you find nowadays. More often then not, "soft and fluffy" really means lumpy and lopsided. Another nice feature was the semi-enclosed parking lot. The Mission is located in what appears to be a working-class neighborhood, next to a 24-hour laundromat and diner, so it's common to see people walking around outside the hotel at all hours. The only way to get to the parking lot (and the rooms) is to go through an entrance gate next to the motel office. That isolation from the street gave me an added sense of security.

Suffisant pour une nuit. Un peu à l'écart de tout.

Pretty goodPosted Nov 1, 2014
Pros: The management.
Cons: Not a lot really, airport pick up.
Location: The location was a bit out of the way but handy for our car rental and the airport. There were food places nearby. Economical place to stay.
The location was not the best but we needed to be near the car hire pick up and not too far from LAX $50.00 by taxi. The manager was excellent and very very helpful. There were quite a few food places nearby.
