Basic but good. Liked restaurant , 20Euros 2 courses or 25 including desert at dinner till 9pm. Easy check in at reception. Although near motorway fairly quiet.

A clean room in an industrial area close to the airport made it convenient to catch an early morning flight. Gas stations and restaurants were close by. Adequate on site restaurant with a buffet was a pleasant surprise.

Bathroom sink taps did not work. I imagine reception was aware of this as gave us a connecting room expecting us to use sink in other room. Starter buffet, desert buffet and mains not up to the usual standard of this chain.

I chose this. Hotel because it’s one of the few that has a shuttle to the airport. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

This is a Motel not a Hotel
This is not a business hotel. This a roadside motel. Very disappointed and surprised that it was recommended as a business hotel.

Great value for a basic hotel
This was a great value if you need to stay close to the airport. It has everything that you’d need - very basic - but perfectly comfortable. The airport shuttle picks you up right st the front gate for €8 every hour - another bonus!

Everything about my stay at the Campanile was great except the food in the restaurant. It was very disappointing and expensive! It might have looked good on the plate but it lacked any sort of nutrition. The entree looked like it was designed to go from freezer to microwave.

Good option for the airport
Good stay, the shuttle bus to the airport was very efficient. The only problem was the hotel not being able to find my booking - which was worrying but just an oversight as it turns out.

Very very poor experiance never again
Very dissapointed ! First the automated no staff on site check in does not recognise any booking agents res numbers ! I and my French and German friends who had used other agents had the same problem ! We were left outside the hotel in the cold and damp for 40 minutes at 01.00 whilst trying to sort it out on the emergency telephone number ! Seems like your reservation systems do not link with their on site automated machines ! Then there is no elevator so with a bad back and doctors orders not to lift anything I had to carry my case up an outside staircase ! The location and room itself were fine ! But the WiFi network was not working (no it was not me it was their equipment I used to own a WiFi solutions company and know what I am doing) then at 5.30 this morning I find the shaver point and hairdryer do not work ! So with no staff on site I had to travel unshaven and unkempt ! It was just very fortunate I was heading home and not to a business meeting. I will never book this type of automated hotel again am very disappointed ! It could work well if managed correctly but not for me !

Basic hotel but very handy for the airport and adjacent restaurant serves a very good dinner - not haute cuisine but perfect for the hungry traveller

Perfect for flying out
Perfect for flying out. I had an early flight out of St Exupery and this hotel was perfect for an overnight stay very close to the airport. The little restaurant in the hotel was nice although the price for breakfast was high. The shuttle which leaves from the hotel served me well. I would recommend

Although the hotel was good I feel deceived.
This hotel was chosen for being an airport hotel. It's description stated SHUTLE service. BUT they charged €12 from each of us to get to the airport. I would expect the site to state this price, so would be able to calculate the real price of this hotel.

Impossible to say, as it was 1am when my Husband arrived, tired and hungry. The auto-check-in refused the 12 digit reservation number; it would only accept/respond to 6 digits, and for 30 minutes he tried all combinations. He does not carry my visa card, so could not use card-access! He had to go to great lengths to get back to the airport to sleep.

Acceptable for the low price.
The hotel inspires compliments like "feasible" and "tolerable." The rooms have been recently renovated, and well enough done. But the rooms are poorly isolated, and open to the outside. For the price, not bad. Paying 6€ for the shuttle (that the hotel shares with a rental car service) was a bit of a downer.But definitely a minimalist choice.

Cheap night before flight
Perfect hotel/motel if your plane is leaving early in the morning. Clean and quiet. The shuttle between the airport and the hotel was 6 euros per person.

This hotel room was small but you wouldn't know it because it is designed so efficiently. The shower had great pressure, the bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean.

great final night after 2 weeks in the area
Last minute booking, after another hotel turned out to be on vacation that week (the French!). Very acceptable alternative. Close enough to Lyon to allow a short late afternoon visit, and right at the airport. Very clean and efficient, quiet room at a very good price. Would stay again.
