Nice hotel, good for business travel

Pros: Easy commute to the office, clean, functional
Nice hotel, clear rooms etc. Agree this hotel is not 5 star luxury but food/rooms/hotel in general were great and good fit for my business travel needs...

Rude Staff and Grimy Rooms

Pros: The location was good.
Cons: Everything could be improved.
Location: It's a great location near other cleaner, more comfortable hotels and a shopping center.
This was the worst hotel experience of my life. Even after I expressed my concerns to management and Orbitz contacted them on my behalf, they were completely unapologetic. When I checked in, the staff member denied that I had booked a Deluxe Balcony room but offered to 'give me a free upgrade to one anyway'. After ordering a drink with specks floating in it last night, it was clear I should not touch the breakfast. My colleague, who was also staying there confirmed that the breakfast was underwhelming. My room had dust in the vents and the shower was nothing short of disgusting. There were scuffs all over the walls (and from the exterminator who was there when I woke up, I assume there are also bugs in the hotel). There was loud music playing from the disco downstairs until 1:30 or 2AM. I spoke to Orbitz last night and talked to a very nice man who said because the hotel was unhygienic it should be possible to get me a refund. Not wanting to create a more uncomfortable night, I decided to wait until the morning to check out at which time I contacted Orbitz again. No one seemed to take into consideration that the hotel was unhygienic and certainly not what the photos and reviews on Orbitz.com depicted. After the staff refused to refund the two additional nights I'd paid, I left and checked in to the Hyatt nearby. I've stayed at 3 star hotels before. This one deserves 2 at best.

Poor maintenance

Though the hotel staff is very good and it is well located, the condition of wooden flooring is extremely poor. It feels like you're walking in an ancient building which is poorly maintained.. room was quite small, and tge shower, door handles, everything was extremely hard to use. Overall a poor quality of maintenance

Pleasant stay.

The food was amazing with good variety and the staff was courteous. The green silk curtains are visually tad too much. Can be toned down..

very noisy

The hotel has a club which is very noisy on weekends Satellite TV was not work.

Don't believe the five star rating !

Pros: Location is convenient.
Cons: The entire hotel needs a major renovation. The is NOT a five nor four star level hotel.
Location: In central Bangalore, close to MG Road.
This hotel is listed as five star, and that is completely untrue! This run down pig with lipstick is more like an older three or two star hotel. Granted it has some luxury amenities, but they don't make up for old, worn facilities, dirty pool, broken elevator, loud club music blasting at night, the dungeon-like fitness rooms, lack of international TV stations, lack of HD TV. I left early even though I had paid for a longer stay. Avoid.
