Pros: pleasant staff, good breakfast, easy drive to the Hamptons
Cons: Worn out, carpet worn, stains on walls
Enjoyed breakfast but hotel needs care. Worn, holes in carpet, stains on walls.

Business trip

Pros: I like the nearness to my business meeting, right down the road from the airport, cleanliness of the room.
Cons: Maybe a little more hot food at the breakfast
Location: I was there for one night, so didn't do much...have a meeting, check in, and gone the next morning
I stayed one night on a one-day business trip. The hotel is located near Islip-MacArthur Airport and close to where my meeting was held. The room was clean and had plenty of space for one person. I had a light breakfast the next morning, and overall enjoyed my experience. And I had stayed there two previous times on similar business trips.

Close to airport

Location: Great South Bay, Ocean beaches.
Nice hotel, very close to the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were well cleaned each day. Parking was at a premium on the weekend and the televisions in the room were preset so that the volume only went so high, which made it hard to hear from the bed especially with the AC unit running.

We stood at this hotel for 5 days. It was very comfortable and close to Baseball Heaven, which is the main reason why we flew to New York. The staff were very friendly and informative. Breakfast was good and I loved that they had washer and dryers. This was a trip of a life time for my son and our family and staying at this hotel made it that much more enjoyable.

This was a one-night stay to attend a family funeral. We selected the hotel because of its location and price that met our budget needs.

old hotel - slightly renovated

Pros: The room was large.
Cons: the bathroom and elevator and the hot tub - needs to be resurfaced and appeared to be dirty - we would not go in
Location: location is by the airport that is it
When we arrived there were no luggage carts available and we had to make several trips to unload our car. The elevator is extremely slow (a lot of guests complaining about that.) The bathroom was retrofitted and the shower was subpar - black mold on the ceiling - and we for some reason we never received the correct or same amount of towels each day. The ceiling over the sitting area was repaired from a water leak and had visible discoloration

Nice hotel if you are traveling alone

Hotel is in good shape and I was treated very well. I needed help with baggage because I was alone. They were very helpful. Nice staff. I got a nice quiet room away from noise. Breakfast was not the greatest because there are really no hot foods but what they had was sufficient. Friendly and courteous service. Pleasant stay.

Great Lobby - HORRIBLE Guest Rooms!

Pros: Lobby appeared updated and nice.
Cons: Cleanliness and regular cleaning.
While I have only had positive experiences at other La Quinta properties, this one made me glad I was only spending one night there. The lobby is very nice, but the guest room left MUCH to be desired. There were light bulbs out, the wall had a LOT of water damage, and there was mold throughout the bathroom and shower. I am NOT a hotel snob and this is the only review I have ever done because it was that bad
