Pros: Location. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Change out queen beds for king size.
Booked room for three persons...extra bed was a disaster. No one could sleep on the mattress...it was a bed of nails! If you book here...make sure it is only a couple.

The staff was professional and helpful. Very accommodating. The room was exactly what we needed. I would highly recommend this Residence Inn.

Reasonable if a bit dated

Spacious suite with everything you need and a more than adequate breakfast. The decor and room finishes are quite dated but it's a good value for the price.

too neglected to please

Pros: location and breakfast was fresh and replenished well
Cons: Need to replace some of kitchen appliances- they are too old for an expensive hotel.
Location: lots to do on Long Island and hotel close to Expressway for easy access
Hotel is in need of cleaning and up grade. Refrigerator not functioning properly, coffee maker broken and coffee supplies not replenished each day, elevator carpeting not vacuumed in weeks, some of door key readers did not work (pool access). Hotel is old and suffering from lack of attention to details, torn wall paper, damaged woodwork, Front entrance looks like a side door: no awning, drive through, sign stating entrance. Just a door on the parking lot.

One elevator was not working, Toilet stopped up and when telling the front desk about the problem, no consideration given or even an "I'm Sorry" I'll get some one up there right away.

Nice hotel served its purpose

Attended my 14 year-old son's baseball tournament so we needed a hotel not too far that could accommodate a place to sleep and fill some down time. Stayed here with three other families. Basically located next to a big common parking lot that also serves a Subway, Chilis, Wendy's, a Mexican restaurant and a Cinema 6 movie complex. More choices nearby but would need to get in the car. One night the boys had Wendy's for dinner and then went to a movie. You can watch them from across the parking lot walk to both. Indoor pool was a comfortable temperature and has a hot tub. Small excercise room with four treadmills and some free weights. Breakfast was free but nothing special and the breakfast area is too small. Rooms have kitchens with full refrigerator, microwave, sink and dishwasher. Staff was friendly and happy to accommodate.
