An Enjoyable Stay

Posted Sep 4, 2017 on Ebookers
Pros: Cosy, clean and quiet
Cons: Shower was a dated electric one and it had a loose shower head. One more bedside lamp.
Location: Set in a nice village close to Lyme Park and other attractions.
My Wife and I had an overnight stay here in a twin room. The staff were welcoming and the room was clean and neat with plenty of draw and hanging space. The ensuite was compact but usable and was also perfectly clean. We would have liked a second bedside lamp as there was only one. The evening meal and breakfast was very good indeed and the portions were large.

Lovely character pub, friendly staff , great food

Posted Aug 24, 2017 on Wotif
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable.
Cons: Cooking smells tend to invade the upstairs corridors, but not really a problem.
Location: Close to Macclesfield and Prestbury village. White Nancy monument is close by if you like walking. Not far from Manchester. Beautiful Cheshire.
The Church House Inn is cosy and comfortable. A lovely old character pub, it is situated in the village of Bollington, Cheshire, not far from Macclesfield. You can see the iconic White Nancy monument from here. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and the pub grub was excellent. We were here for a week and ate at the restaurant on five nights. Always varied and delicious. A good range of single malt Scotch and ales. Breakfast was delicious and generous. Recommended for anyone wanting to tour around the area or just have a nice break.

A Nice Pub with accommodation

Posted Aug 17, 2017 on Ebookers
Pros: Good value !
Cons: The bathroom could do with a bit of TLC !
Location: Bollington a small town / village..lots to do if you like walking or eating !
A nice small pub with pleasant rooms, a good breakfast included. Chris and his staff were very helpful, we stayed two nights. We had an evening meal on our first evening which was very good. I found the pub very nice, we also did not have to go through the pub to our rooms! Would stay again !
