Family time on the Straits of Mackinac
My husband and I, our kids, and our grandkids really enjoyed our time together in your cottage! We rented the cottage from a Wednesday to Wednesday and our kids came for the Labor Day weekend in the middle. The weather was cool with some rain and lots of wind, but we totally loved our campfires at the secluded water's edge and the gorgeous view of the Mackinac Bridge. Our grandkids (ages 7 and 9) had so much fun swimming in the water even though it was quite chilly! The cottage was clean and comfy and well stocked with everything we needed. Because of COVID19 we mostly cooked in or did take-out, but that was fine with us. When the kids left, we took a great bike ride on the North Western Bike Trail from Mackinaw City to Carp Lake, as well as rode around the town itself. (Bring your bikes!!) All in all, we had a fun time! Thanks!

Loved it! Great for our 4 year old
House was absolutely wonderful. My son had a wonderful time. Water was very high this year so it looks like some steps washed out. Pretty big step down into the water. But a small public beach is a few houses down. We had an absolute blast and the WiFi made it a perfect work from someone else’s home situation.

Wonderful place!
We had a great stay. The cottage was just as described--quaint, inviting, and right on the water. Owner was responsive and helpful. We'd love to stay again!

Lakefront home
The view of the Lake and Mackinac Bridge from the deck and yard is excellent. We were able to open the door and hear the waves lapping at the shore in the evening hours. The furniture was older and some pieces were antiques. They fit the overall decor of this historic vacation cabin. The beds and couch were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the full bathrooms in good shape. Great place for a small group of adults.

TV
The only glitch (which I should have noticed) was not having cable or satellite for TV. Spoke with the owner and got a good explanation. All in all this was a perfect fit for our vacation.
