Very nice stay.Staff very friendly and helpful.Beach is nice with sandy beaches.Entertainment in evening was very good.

My go to Hotel when in Cebu

Staff is always more than helpful and would go out of their way to please the guest. I was a bit disappointed this time though. Our room was much smaller than expected and we were 2 adults and one child. I requested for an extra bed and the housekeeping said that we cannot have one as it will not fit anymore in the room. I was a hotelier myself and found this quite surprising to whoever has the designs approved. We booked over expedia and I expect that all rooms can accommodate and extra bed not 3 people cramped in a king size bed. I also specifically flew in for the Ironman and would expect at least some kind of comfort. Also I found it quite offensive that every time I would enter the buffet for breakfast the lady in the door would always say that sir your room does not include the buffet. I do know this as I chose my package. I do not know if other Asians are shocked when they are charged that is why your staff is very "careless" for lack of a better term in how they should approach this situation. Overall I would still come back. This is my second time in Cebu and I really like Movenpick.

2nd time to stay here

Gave this place another chance and stayed again for 2 nights 3 days. It's still overrated, it under delivers. Staff seemed overwhelmed and inexperienced.

Stunning resort stay

The resort it's self was beautiful. Newly appinted, modern and chic. They have a man made beach which is beautiful as you can't find any in matcan. The staff are fantastic and always friendly, really couldn't do enough to help you. Booked tours through the resort, always more expensive, but you know what your getting. If you are after a resort stay, don't look anywhere else.

Excellent view but poor air con ventilation

Checked in at 10pm as we arrived late. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were 10 of us and we checked into 2 rooms and 1 family suite. The rooms were clean and offer excellent views. Family suite suppose to offer 3 king size bed as stated on the booking but it turned out to be 1 king size and 2 single bed. Am puzzled by the room configuration therefore adjustment has to be made for our rooming. Air con was also not as cooling as what we wanted. It was relatively stuffy especially when all 10 of us gathered in the family suite. Technician came up at 1am to check on the temperature of the room. Offered 2 air cooler to be placed in the room. Overall the experience was good but it could be better and I believed that there are rooms for improvement.

Cons: Gift shops are way over priced
Location: secluded and that is what we were looking for.
Amazing Sunrise, staff friendly and service oriented.
