This hotel may seem away from it all & it is, but this makes it special. It is a stunning hotel, with the friendliest of staff. The Sun deck is perfect on the 8th floor & plenty of loungers for all.
Stayed here at short notice, staff were very helpful especially Jessica (waitress). Comfortable roon with a great view of the coast and very peace full. The Captains Table is a very relaxed restaurant, staff very cheerful and for fine dining Lordes was excellent. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable ...
Upon arrival made most welcome with the service and a drink. Shuttle bus service was there waiting for our arrival and departure, to and from the airport. The drivers are very friendly and informative. Hotel rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. We were half board and found the meals plentiful ...
Only negative comment is that the reception staff were not over friendly and we booked a family room which was very cramped and only given 2 chairs for 3 persons
Everything is perfect. Location (small village) and ocean (15 m from hotel) makes your vacations fabulous and safe. Restaurant in hotel (for a dinner) is cheap and wonderful. Wifi is good. Stuff is very friendly. Sand beach and pool with ocean water very close to hotel
We enjoyed our holiday as it was a well deserved break we both needed. The facilities & amenities were fantastic for a 4 star hotel and everything was on our doorstep.
First time in Madeira, stayed at this hotel and it was quite nice. Can see the sea right from your balcony. Loads of shops and restaurants around. Pool on the top floor which is nice if you just want to have a chilled day. Overall I was quite happy with my stay at this hotel :)
We were originally booked for the Dom Pedro in Machico. We arrived to find that they were sold out and that they hadn't received our Expedia reservations until the day before. This was frustrating as we booked many weeks in advance. They did offer us 3 rooms in Garajau which was another 15 minutes ...
The hostel is very well located, the staff unique, friendly, accommodating and very helpful. It is clean and safe. If you want peace and quiet it might not be your place because there are lots of restaurants nearby, including the one in the hostel, and they are all busy until midnight. I had a great ...
This hotel, which is right on the beach has great facilities and a laid back, relaxed vibe. The food was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the entertainment was great. The staff were wonderful. There is a great spa and gym which was never busy when we were there. Really can't fault ...
Ideal hotel location, ocean frontage with pretty gardens. Free shuttle bus to Funchal. Staff in all departments helpful and friendly. Food of good quality, fresh and well presented in main restaurant. Italian restaurant on garden level (pre book) also excellent food but feels it needs more subdued ...
Excellent customer service, responded instantly to confirm booking and even found us a room with a sea view. Staff great and very friendly and obliging, fantastic location and we were so lucky to find it on our first visit to madeira. We hired a car for the week and toured the island and would not ...
We had a lovely stay here. Well looked after by our host Grace and her team. She has a lovely home where you are made to feel like a member of the family. It is situated in the old town but away from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and shops. We had a lovely sea view and the rooms were comfortable. ...
Had a great two weeks in Madeira, staying at Hotel Monte Carlo. Hotel was ok - not modern - a former private home, and school during WW2 - but rooms were nice, and kept clean and tidy. Our room lacked a balcony which we would have made a lot of use of, and no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. ...
This is a beautiful hotel, with a range of pools and an opportunity to swim in the sea. Breakfast overlooking the sea was spectacular. Rooms are lovely and we made the most of the cooking facilities. Staff were courteous and friendly. A lovely week.
Wish i was still there. Hotel was very good, staff, facilities, food and the pool along with the area sea etc. I went with my partner but hotel would also suite a family.
