A big dissapoitmentPosted Jun 15, 2014 on Hotels
The rooms were very scary, lizards in room. After paying huge huge amount for two nights, we were very dissapointed. There was nothing for entertainment as information given in their web site, no outside dinner, no dance and no way of keeping guests entertained. The free internet given was 50 mb and that too for 4 guests for total stay. There was no play area for kids, again wrong info given on web site.Thy inky allow 2 people in a room, now withfamily of 4, 2 adukts and 2 kids, we boked two seperate rooms, and rooms are independent tents, which are exclusive, and tents without doors, just canvas closing wih a zip, how could kids sleep alone and when you arrive they have notice that they are not liable for anything in he hotel, insects, animals or anything. They are charging and selling for luxury, but it seems facility wise of just an adventurous camp. Not at all worth the money they charge. In evening there was nothing to do, afer gettjng early dark, it was dull, that even after booking and paying for 2 nights we left early morning after spending only one night . The staff was nice and they tried to mk us hapy, but they didnt hv anything to offer to mk our stay comfortable.Absolutely not worth staying or visiting.Jn fact this was the only part of our South Africa trip that was a big dissapoitment.

Brilliant treetop experiencePosted Mar 30, 2013
Pros: Location , design and decor, fabulous hospitality
Location: Treetop Lodges wiht nature at you balcony, fabulous
We chose Jaci's for the the treetop lodges and were not dissapointed, wonderful location, superb hopsitality and fantastic game drives with brilliant staff. I've thought hard and can think of nothing to fault it. We had three nights in March and would go again tommorow. An exceptional African experience, delivering beyond expectations. Breakfast overlooking 35 elephants frolicking in the waterhole will last in the memory for ever.

The best of the bestPosted Feb 13, 2013
Pros: When I say we loved it all, I really cannot think of anything I would change.
The staff was amazing. They were always polite and cheerful never minding it if we asked for something special or a little extra of something they had prepared. Paul our "bush guide" was the best! He was very well informed and we never asked a question he didn't have an answer for. If you are able to ask for a guide this would be your man. My husband is already planning another trip back to Jaci's and Paul will be the guide we request. If you are not sure about this resort don't think twice push the book button and don't look back! Our room was wonderful, the food was amazing, the guide and tours were the best. We were able to see the Big 4, so we will be back for the last one of the big 5. Until then......
