"Our stay in this house in Nosy Be was idyllic. We spent about a week in this paradise and we would absolutely recommend it. Our family was gathering from all over the world and we could not have dreamt of a better place. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. "The room was spacious and clean. The staff were really friendly and a couple of them spoke english so that was reallly helpful. The location is convenient. A few minute walk down to the main restaurants and bars. The walk can be a little dark, so have your camera flashlight handy. It is a really safe area, no issues at all. The only 2 issues i had were that the tv didn't work, only the menu page loaded but no channels and i tried having a hot bath, but there was no hot water. Either than that, the hotel is great. Would definitely recommend it."

"Firstly the property is up a very steep hill , there was no mention of this . The apartment is separate to the building in the photo. There was no internet , you had to go to the main building for this . The pool and breakfast was also there , we declined as it felt you were in someone’s house, intruding . Constant dog barking at night . The town itself is just a meeting point for elderly peodphiles and it was sickening ."

"We would definitely recommend the Royal Beach Hotel if you're thinking of staying in Nosy Be. As well as being a lovely, clean and enjoyable place to stay, the staff were what made it for us. Everyone from the team on reception, the dinning staff to the gardeners, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They all made sure we were well catered for. The staff also really showed up for us when our flights were cancelled. They went above and beyond to help us find alternative routes home and made sure to keep rooms for us in case our flights were cancelled again...which they were. Our only note would be, if you go for the All Inclusive package, confirm with the hotel that it includes everything you are expecting from the package. We decided against the All Inclusive on arrival and the hotel accommodated us and refunded that part of the bill. The hotel was great and there's lots to do around the area. Go for the experience and stay for the staff. Have a great time in Nosy Be. "

"The property and staff were friendly and helpful. The gentleman at reception was wonderful. It was awkward as soon as I checked in as the owner requested I cancel the booking and pay directly to the property due to Hotels.com/Expedia failure to pay for multiple guests over the previous month's. The option was unavailable as Hotel.com policy for cancellation was fully nonrefundable. This means I'd have to pay twice if I cancelled. The stay further detoriated upon check out as I was falsely accused of not paying for the total mini bar use. I had paid for everything drink I had from the mini bar. Yet due to a clerical error an additional 2 cans of beer were apparently not paid for after the mini bar had been restocked. As I had filled the fridge with my own ciders and purchased goods, No cans of beer were placed in the fridge only 4 bottles. I was subsequently treated as thief and spoke to in a degrading manner by the owner who threatened and also appeared to have called the police to have me jailed in his country. I will never use Hotel.com or Expedia again. Google review of 1 Star coming for the organisation! Deal with it!"
