Only if you really need a cheap stay

First. The lady at the front desk was fantastic. Very friendly. She really knew her job and was very efficient. The room was recently remodeled but already showed signs of wear and tear. Someone left the heat on high and the room was very hot. It was 75 this day and took an hour to cool down. The lot was very dark as it was night time when I checked in. The parking lot lights didn't seem to all be working. I realize this isn't a 5 star hotel but it left a lot to be desired.

Want bug bites? Then stay here!

Scary surroundings, I did not feel safe. It made me sorry I prepaid through Expedia. I left a day early because I got bit by some kind of bugs during the 1st night. I now have itchy ugly bumps all over my torso. NEVER AGAIN.

Dirty room, strong smoking smell all over the room , Worst experience ever. I wish there was less than one star.

Location of hotel and its clientele

I have stayed at this motel many times but the last two times I have not felt very safe. Evidently this motel has become a place for pimps and hookers to meet up. The room was nice and clean but the second night when I got back to the motel the police were there and there was a bunch of people standing around my room making me feel not so safe. I will not stay at this particular motel the next time I travel to MI.

Two nights - one terrible, one okay.

We realize this is not a high-end hotel and you get what you pay for. We (2 couples) booked on expedia and paid cash on arrival. We asked for a quiet room and were given 2 rooms on second floor at end of outside corridor, on parking courtyard. In both rooms the a/c was functioning but very loud, cycling on and off noisily throughout the night. Next door guests were drunk, talking loudly well past 2:00 a.m. We complained in the morning, planning to change hotels. The receptionist was sympathetic but had no authority. Manager finally talked to us in person and explained the situation for refund. We decided to stay when he offered to change our rooms. These two rooms were better, and we had a decent night. However, because of our first night, and because of the noisy clientele in the lobby on booking in, we would not consider staying here again..The facilities are all very weary, but the rooms were clean.

Horrible and awful experience

Horrible and awful experience.. The pictures are so deceiving so be careful . Hair on the pillow , smoke burned bed sheets. The whole room smells as if someone has been smoking there for years. Very Dirty hallways. and if you start to itch at the middle of the night just make sure to remove the BED BUGS. Again the pictures on the google and the websites are so deceiving. However ,Staff was friendly

NEVER AGAIN!

Pros: Decent drive to Detroit Downtown.
We had our room booked for 2 nights probably a month ahead. When we got there (and we were already late for the concert) they checked us into a dirty room which smelled like pot. The bathroom was dirty, all the towels were on the floor and the bed was not made. We went back to the receptionist and told her this. She shook her head like she was surprised and checked us into another room. The second room smelled like cigarettes (both of us do not smoke, so this was very unpleasant) and the A/C did not work properly. The bath curtain was very dirty, as well as the room walls. We were already late for the concert so we just dropped our stuff and left. When we got back to the hotel at around 1am, there were sketchy people roaming around, smoking something and starring at us. It felt really unsafe and uncomfortable. The walls were very thin, so we were able to hear voices for another couple hours. When we finally fall asleep, at around 7am the room safe started beeping. When you check into a room, you expect that the safe is open so you can use it if you need it. This one was not. It was locked and it was beeping. We could not sleep anymore, the beeping was very annoying, so we called the receptionist. She told us that she does not know how to open it, and that she will be sending maintenance to check on it. The maintenance showed up at 3pm. He couldn't open the safe, but at least he made it stop beeping. We are never staying there again! The whole experience was such a nightmare

First I was given keys to an occupied room. I walked in on a naked man in bed. I went back to registration. Got another room. The room had old fast food bags and the room smelled bad. The A/C disnt even have a face on it and was extremely loud. At this point I was going to be late for reservations so I was gonna suck it up. My friends and i got the room so we could go out locally amd have a place close to stay. When we returned there were drug deals going on in the parking lot and a drunk couple fighting. We left our keys by the tv and called to have someone take us home. There is definitely room for improvement.
