Save money in Madtown.Posted Jul 10, 2015
It's not fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but it was clean and very inexpensive. It was conveniently located only 5 minutes from campus but half the cost of the campus hotels. I'd stay here again.

Look beyond the outsidePosted Jul 1, 2015 on Hotels
Don't let the neighborhood or the outside of the building scare you away. It's clean, the beds are comfortable and the room has a microwave and refrigerator. There was no continental breakfast including no coffee or hot water for tea available the morning we left and you never knew if you could find someone at the desk. The front desk person was very pleasant when we did find her. There were no individual room controls to adjust the air conditioning and the room was uncomfortably cold.

Photo and Information MisleadingPosted Jun 30, 2015
Cons: Everything- take it off the site
First picture and actual facility not even close - run down building - signs worn and weathered. Building in need of repair - poor neighborhood - small office that smelled no one there - key from lock box entered room and someone in there and said it was their room!!!! Never again

Old style motelPosted Jun 10, 2015 on Hotels
Room was nice and clean. Only drawback was the breakfast area was way too small. More then 1 person, you could not move. It was located in a hallway.

Good little placePosted Jun 9, 2015 on Hotels
It looked a little rough pulling up, but rooms were recently redone inside and were clean. Breakfast was basic but good.

Practical lodging accommodations for brief tripsPosted Jun 6, 2015
Pros: Clean, neat accommodations, good WiFi and Internet access, free continental breakfast, comfortable bed.
Cons: Provide a modest set of drawers for clothing.
Location: Good access to local lakes and parks. Reasonable drive to the state capital and the UW.
Except for the first day, I just used these accommodations for night time lodging. When I did use the room for some work, I found the WiFi and Internet access to be adequate and reliable. The bathroom was modest but very clean. The "continental breakfast" was better than expected - featuring a waffle making that produced quite impressive results. Chilled strawberry and peach toppings were also provided in addition to maple syrup. Hot and cold cereals, bagels, and a selection of fruit were also available. The location was a little noisy due to its proximity to a major highway, but not a major problem. At night the area was rather quite. Overall, a reasonable value for someone not looking for, or needing, the plusher amenities of a more expensive hotel. A clean, basic place to rest your head at night.

Business StayPosted May 31, 2015 on Hotels
For a night of sleep is fine. Old chair in the room made me don't want to stay there excepting for sleeping. It is better inside than outside. Room is clean.

Nice but a little scaryPosted May 22, 2015 on Hotels
Stayed there for Univ of Wisc graduation for one night-it was very hot out the day we were there, yet there are no controls in the room for the air. A very nice (non english speaking) maintenance man came to the room just to tell us that was all the air we were going to get, which was none! We had to go the walgreens down the street to buy a fan. Carpet was filthy, beds were comfy, bathroom was clean. The breakfast was nice, but no tables or chairs to sit in by the breakfast or in our room. The bullet proof glass at the front desk was a good indication of the neighborhood we were in!

Pros: It was clean and inexpensive
Cons: There were no water glasses. I really needed one in the middle of the night. Exterior shabby. Lobby super small
