Great for Madrid-Barajas AirportPosted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: I enjoyed the location and the free airport shuttle was nice too. Internet was ok. I particularly enjoyed the contemporary decor.
Cons: The water is too cold. You cannot charge people for some project in Bolivia without asking them whether they are interested or not. That is WRONG.
Location: Close to the airport (15-30 min) and to a big shopping centre (~10 min, within walking distance).
Excellent location if you're catching a flight from the Madrid-Barajas Airport (15-ish min away, depending on terminal). The area is mostly industrial with several hotels located there but not many residencial buildings, so it is a bit deserted in the evening. There is a big mall within a 10 min walk, which has loads of restaurants (with all you can eat buffets) and a supermarket as well. There is plenty of free on-street parking if you're driving, otherwise you can take advantage of the hotel bus, which is free but make sure you book a seat because it can get quite busy. Make sure you add an extra 30 min to the airport transfer (to be safe). I waited longer than 30 min @ airport to get to the hotel, and it took an extra 30 the next day to get back as there were so many people they had to get another bus (Terminal 4 is the last drop-off btw). They give you a complementary toothbrush and toothpaste which is nice, but don't swoon over the bath. The water is waaaay too cold for anything but a quick shower. There are free newspapers in the morning, on the check-in counter. Avoid the food and drinks in the room, the prices are way too high! Head to the shopping centre ("Plenilunio") instead and take advantage of the all you can eat buffets and the supermarket (e.g. pay 1/10 for a water bottle compared to hotel). When I checked in I noticed they'd charged me extra without saying what it was for. I had to ask and was told it was for a project in "Bolivia"... Asked for money back.

Close to airport, great service, comfortablePosted Aug 20, 2015
Location: Not much to do nearby, but very close to airport
Very reasonably priced, quiet, clean, modern hotel. Efficient shuttle to the airport. They even packed our breakfast to take with us due to an early departure.

Very convenient for airportPosted Aug 16, 2015
Cons: Black modern furniture shows dust which had previously been cleaned the day before. Also remote control was a bit dusty.
We stayed for one night in a family room as we had to catch an early flight on the morning. Shuttle service from and to the airport was excellent and made things very easy. We have two young children and the room was very comfortable and big enough for the four of us. Nearby shopping centre is also very convenient. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Awful Staff- hotel is a factoryPosted Aug 16, 2015
Cons: Customer Service! Respect for Guest Experience!
Hotel lobby was constantly crowded with massive groups of people trying to check in and get service. Staff was very rude and uphelpful - only a handful of staff managing high loads of guests.

Great quad near airport (actually at Axor Barajas)Posted Aug 6, 2015
Pros: Awesome room. Free shuttle to airport with polite drivers.
Cons: Hotel is great. Expedia needs to get the paperwork correct - I booked un Axor Feria, my paperwork said so, but room was at Axor Barajas, next door.
Location: Plenilunio mall within walking distance.
Room was great. Clean. Large. Quad. Walked to Plenilunio mall for shopping and dinner. Free shuttle to airport.

Nice hotel, but shuttle problemsPosted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: Pleasing modern design with nice appointments and great shower. Great restaurant
Cons: Shuttle service from the airport.
Location: Location was close to airport, so convenient for people flying in or out early or late in the day.
We booked a triple in this hotel for the night before flying out of Madrid and the night after flying in. It is a pleasing modern design. Our room while not spacious, was serviceable; two twin beds were together with a third bed on the other wall. This is a good arrangement for parents traveling with a child. The air-conditioning worked well and the shower was wonderful. All areas appeared clean. Our favorite feature was the bar and Mirage Restaurant located in the sister hotel next door. The bar offered excellent Sangria. The food at the restaurant was delightful; we enjoyed the fish dishes, the grilled vegetables, and the barrata mozzarella salad. However, we had great frustration with the shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. During our first stay, we waited in the unshaded pick-up spot in 100 degree heat for 1.5 hours for the shuttle, despite two phone calls made by our daughter (in fluent Spanish) to the hotel, in which staff gave us incorrect reports about the shuttle arriving soon. Finally when we gave up and hailed a cab (30 Euros!) we saw the shuttle arrive as we drove off. The hotel manager was sympathetic and sent sparkling wine to our room later in the evening, but that didn't really make up for the problem. During our second stay 5 days later, we waited 45 minutes for the shuttle, this time the pick-up spot was shaded. The shuttle ran on time going to the airport. Also, breakfast was 14 Euros, not 8 as reported by Expedia.
