Beautiful Madrid

Pros: Location.
Cons: Please see under " experience ".
Location: Location is central. A Metro station ( subway) is about 50 meters away. There are waiting taxis . An ElCortes Ingless department store and supermarket
The hotel location was good. The staff were generally helpful . However, the room needed improvement. There were two or three bathroom floor tiles which were loose/ coming off which could have caused injury. One chair had a big stain. The carpet has seen better days. All these shortcomings which were noted in our feedback to the hotel didn't matter as we were in a beautiful city (Madrid ) and weren't spending much time in the room. My attempts to cancel my reservation which was made through Expedia were not successful as it was not possible to get through to Expedia after the reservation was made.

Lovely hotel in ezcellent location!

Staff were great, room very nice and clean and luxuriously comfortable. Only spent 2 nights. I wish we could've spent more!

It was an excellent hotel in a great location.

Pros: Location, staff, near Metro, not far from Gran Via. Comprehensive breakfast.
Cons: Make a plastic mat available for protection in the tub to avoid falls.
Location: superb location-not far from everything. Walking distance to downtown.
I have no complaints-it was a wonderful stay and would stay again when next in Madrid.

Pleasant stay

It was very Pleasant stay. Location of the hotel was absolutely amazing however it's a bit dated hotel so they need to do bit of improvement on facilities . location wise it's the best hotel you can book to go around in Madrid .

Well am sure it was a 5 star , some time ago, needs a little tlc, rugs, and bathroom, but overall good for the price!!!

Nice hotel near to madrid centre

Very central hotel, nearest metro stations, clean premiun room ,delicious and cheap breakfast,all the employees of the hotel with whom we had some contact were very kind except Natalia in the reception of the hotel, she is rude, impolite and ignores the guests ,I recommended this hotel.

Good as a business hotel or group tourist hotel.

Pros: Room is tidy
Cons: Stuff's attitude, the wall and window fir noise
Location: Location is not really close to the prosperous area, but not too far away. Few bus stops.
It is not very convent. And the restaurant is small and the waiters' attitude are not good.

Good central location

Had an enjoyable 4 night stay in a family room. Good breakfast with range of choices, modern large room. Ate in the Bistro one night and that was quite reasonable. Only negative was the room was quite warm and difficult to cool as no aircon. In the end engineer kindly unlocked window.

Terrible standard room.

Standard room is completely outdated. Heater was not working even after maintenance man tried to fix it.
