Great budget stay

Posted Jan 20, 2016
Perfect for those on a budget, doesn't feel like a hostel (but isn't 5*...). Central location, noisy at night, basic but everything you need (incl. extras like hairdryer, TV, towels, shampoo, shower gel, free sweets) etc. Surprised by lack of kettle/tea/coffee in room, but it is actually only rated 1*. In reality it's just like most 3* places I have stayed, and hospitality makes up for relatively basic room. Would recommend.

Surprisingly Comfortable

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Location, price, helpfulness of staff, feel of place.
Cons: There wasn't much of a view from the room.
Location: Tirso de Molina metro station and Lidl supermarket close by.
Decent size room, large bathroom, good location a couple of minutes walk from Tirso de Molina metro station and walking distance of major attractions. WiFi worked very well. Staff very helpful. The sweets included with the intricately shaped towels and a gift on departure were nice touches.

Good location!

Posted Oct 21, 2014
This hostel is very central to metros, main square, plaza del Sol, etc., very clean, parking close (hotel discount) and staff excellent! A little hard to find on a small but busy street if you are driving your own vehicle. Loading zone is useful and studying photos on the website before you arrive very useful.

Convenient for the sights of Madrid

Posted May 26, 2014
Pros: Low cost, convenient and friendly staff.
Cons: Maybe it would be useful to have a coffee machine accessible for guests for the mornings.
Location: All of central Madrid is on your doorstep.
A low cost hotel convenient for all the sights and for eating and drinking places of which there are so many. Friendly and helpful staff. Modern fittings and cleaned well. Free WiFi. No restaurant for breakfast but a nice cafe a couple of minutes walk away open weekdays and lots of other cafes nearby at the weekend. There are quieter rooms at the back but we stayed street side and noise was not a problem.

Perfect to visit Madrid for a city break

Posted May 16, 2014
Pros: What's not to like! Cheap, amazing quality, brilliant staff.. need i go on?!
Cons: Nothing to report
Location: It's about a 10 minute walk to the centre, Sol, there are small cafes and restaurants nearby, and there is a supermarket just up the road.
I loved this hostel! The staff were exceptionally helpful. Despite my flight being delayed and not arriving until late, the staff were so helpful & could not have done anything more to be accommodating and friendly. The hotel is a block away from Tirso de Molina, on the Metro line, and the hostel is walkable to Sol centre. Lovely place, I'd definitely stay here again!

Comfy stay in a great location

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Water pressure and temperature. Bed and location.
Cons: Helpfulness of staff. Fix community computer and lack of WiFi on the third floor.
Location: Reina Sofia Museum, Retiro Park, Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, Bernabeu Standium, and the Prado Museum
The water pressure and amount of hot water was great. Rooms were impeccably clean and the location was great for walking to the cities' sights. The WiFi on the other hand was insufficient at best. Only way to receive a signal was to go down to the second floor (reception floor) since no connections were available on our floor (third floor). The community computer was a netbook that was not working and was again on the second floor. Grocery store just around the corner was a plus as well.

Excellent location, simple but clean hotel

We wanted somewhere really central and clean that would not break the bank and we would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Don't expect luxury but everything else was just fine
