Excellent Hostel. Clean, updated bathrooms, lots of hot water, good mattresses, friendly and helpful staff. Plaza across street to sit in the sun and have coffee or wine.

It is pretty convenient and cheap. It's a little confusing because it's in only 1 floor. But I think is good if you're staying for a night

This being a hostal has minimal amenities. Tiny bath tub. The location is good and every front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Good for the price.

Very well located. Our room faced the plaza and it was noisy at night, but closing the windows blocked the noise. Very friendly staff. Good value and will definitely stay here again.

Yo tenía una reservación de 4 noches las primeras 2 noches no llegue a mi recervacion. Yo llegue a mi tersera noche..cuando llego al lugar hay lo avían dado a otro persona.. y me mandaron a otro lugar

Usted tenía una reserva de 4 noches, como no se presentó ni nos indicó que iba a venir otro día para que se le mantuviera la habitación, estuvimos esperando la noche del check in y la siguiente y a la tercera aplicamos la condición del no Show, en el que se le anula su reserva.

Nice location and comfort
Pretty good location, good comfort in beds, the shower was small but good water pressure and temperature, overall recommended and good service from the desk guy and also offer a flat rate with some taxis companies to the airport

I specifically set the filter for AC and this hostal is listed as having AC with no extra info. When I checked in, the AC was disabled because it’s winter time, so the heater is on and, according to a very polite member of the staff, “it wouldn’t make sense to them to have the heater on and have people turn on the AC.” According to him, the laws in Spain don’t require them to have functioning AC in the winter. He was very amicable and detailed in his explanations, but they did not have a fan to lend us and their only alternative to the very hot rooms was to open the window (to the very loud square across the street). The staff me ever basically blamed Orbitz for not specifying that the AC is off during winter.

It is specified in the reservations that the air conditioning has been disconnected since October 1, and in winter what is put is the heating, since the temperature is cold on the street, and the air conditioning is only for cold.

Excellent location
It is a very basic room, dont expect anything much than to sleep in the room in the night. But the staff was very supportive, location is ideal. If you are looking to see the centre of madrid, this is the place to stay as it is in the centre of hub.

The hostal was perfect for a small place to stay and sleep while you explore Madrid. The location was fantastic and you could walk to just about anything. The staff were friendly and answered any questions I had.

This property is impeccably clean at all the times. They clean the room every day and there is no place to find anything dirty. It always smells great. The bathroom is neat. In relation to the location, it's located in a nice neighborhood and close to almost all major attractions by walking. The stuff is also very polite.

The room is very small. Is hot. The bath tub you can enter with dificulty because is to small. The room is overprice the pillow is not good and damage your neck at night

Great Hotel for central accommodation in Madrid
Location of hotel is great. Close to centre and all public transportation facilities. Despite the fact room furnitures were old, they were spotless clean. Staff were extremely helpful. I am very pleased staying Hostal Zamora overall.

Good time
I had a great experience, the employees are respectful and helpful, the hostel is in a great place, in a good condition, close to everything in Madrid and the room was clean. Do not expect luxury, it is great for everyone.

We feel that the stay has not been to your liking, we do not know what it indicates of the bad smell in the bathroom, but if you had told us something in the reception we could have seen it and try to solve it. The air conditioner always works, so if the window is open, the system is not connected

excellent location, walking distance to all major tourist sites and metro. very helpful and polite staff. clean, basic rooms. only downside was room walls were thin and I could hear everything in rooms next to me. excellent price for value, and I would stay here again next time I am in Madrid.
