The only positive of this hotel was its location. Though for the price and the problems we faced - the hotel was not worth it! There were several other options in the vicinity that we could have chosen from.
There were ants crawling all over the washroom floor and crawling out into the room as well - I'll attach a picture of it. The Wifi Internet was running on 0.76 Mbps download speed which felt like something from the early 2000's (picture of speed test attached). The hotel controlled the AC and was barely on. The heating was blasting over night and we had to leave the window open to balance out the temperature. The heat was so dry that our throat and nostrils started hurting by our 2nd night.
We asked for a set of plates/cutlery to be sent to our room as we brought food from a restaurant and the hotel wanted to charge 3 Euros for each plate set. This seemed just ridiculous to me as we have stayed in many hotels all over the world and none ever asked us for a payment for plates.
The rooftop pool was closed and only opens in April. It would have been nice to know this while booking in advance.
I would definitely not recommend this hotel to any one. There are many other options available which are just as close to the city centers.

Thank you for you opinion regarding your stay at Hotel Emperador although we are surprised to hear that you had such a bad experience during your stay. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience.
Although we would like to point out some of your comments.
- Ants in the bathroom: It is not usual but perhaps they came from the works at the roofgarden on the 10th floor. Unfortunately we weren´t aware of them.
- WIFI, there is a free conection which runs on a speed of 760mbps which is valid for standard use. Besides there are PREMIUM options of 2Gbps at extra cost.
- Regarding your comment about room service charge. As we understand on your comment, the food came from a restaurant outside the Hotel but you asked the Hotel room service for plates and cutlery. If you check the menu it is informed there is a charge of 3 € for the service, not for each plate set. Anyway all guest are informed when they call to room service that we can provide everything in the Lobby Bar at no cost.
Finally on Expedia website there is all the information regarding our swimming pool and rooftop and its opening dates.
