Second stay here for us this trip. Hotel staff remembered us when we walked in. Will stay here again in Madrid!

Hotel close to City centre

Posted Mar 17, 2017
Pros: Decor and appearance was very good, everywhere was to a good standard.
Cons: In room facilities, very disappointing
Hotel very nice but let down by facilities in room which staff were reluctant to do anything about. Double bed with two guests but only two pillows. We needed four, we did get them but with difficulty. Two guests in room, two cups but only one sachet of coffee and two milk portions. Coffee and tea on arrival but no drinks for the morning. Asked for extra milk and coffee and got four milk portions and two coffee sachets. Just not enough for 24 hours, two drinks each.

LOVE THIS PLACE!

Posted Mar 5, 2017
Pros: Location, balcony, cleanings
Cons: I did not enjoy that the AC was not working but we open the doors and we got the breeze from the balcony.
Location: Best location ever
We came here for our 2 years Anniversary. I can't say enough. Best place ever. Everything is near, people all the time the life of Madrid at the palm of your hand. Beautiful room. We had the Romantic Suite which was beautiful with a balcony and we could see the Gran Via at its glance.

Central, lovely hotel.

The Emperador Hotel is in the heart of Madrid within walking distance of all amenities of the city center. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff were very helpful, there was coffee and tea. Unfortunately, because of the time of year, the rooftop wasn't accessible. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay.

Nice and comfortable hotel in downtown Madrid

Posted Feb 19, 2017
Cons: The mattress wasn't great.
Location: Walkable distance to pretty much every touristic attraction. There are bars, restaurants, cinemas and theaters around the corner.
We had a great stay at Hotel Emperador. Our room had a view on Gran Via but was very quiet. It was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Perfect location of Madrid

Posted Feb 13, 2017
The standard room was a decent size good for couple and a kid. It's clean and comfortable. The bathroom was on smaller side only. Our room was on the 5th floor and had the view overlooking gran via and wasn't really noisy at night. The hotel staffs could be a little more welcoming or friendly. Overall we had a pleasant stay here and the location of the hotel is perfect. You can pretty much walk to any attractions from here within 10-20 mins so not that far. I didn't need to take metro or taxis. I even made a tripped all the way to Salamanca district to do some designer shopping which took about 30 mins. If you're looking to get your hands on some designer goods then come here. This neighborhood is more quiet residential and pretty upscale looking. They got cute boutique stores. The retiro park is also close by around that area.
