This is a nice hotel in a town outside the city center of Madrid. I originally booked it because hotels.com showed that it had an airport shuttle. It does not have an airport shuttle and that has been removed from the website, just not before I booked the hotel because of a shuttle...
The positives of this hotel are first it's proximity to the train station and taxi stand. You are literally across the street from both. The neighborhood also has restaurants and supermarkets and feels safe. The hotel has great water pressure and very hot water. The breakfast is good and runs until 11. The staff is very friendly and speaks English.
One negative is the location relative to the airport. If the airport is at 12 on a clock, the hotel is at 3. But with public transport, you have to go from 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 to reach 12. You can get there direct with a taxi, but it costs over $25 Euros one way. Another drawback for me was the temperature. The rooms have an AC control panel, but I'm from South Florida and I know AC temps. The room did not cool below 79 degrees F at any time (across 4 days in 2 rooms). Since it was May, the nights were nice and I could leave the balcony doors open. But if it had been hot at night, it would have been very uncomfortable in the room with that inadequate AC.
Also a nice Turkish takeaway right next door. Chicken pita with chips and soda for $5.50 Euros.
Great value. Just a bit warm and far from city and airport via public transport.
