Luxury Suites lives up to its name.

Posted Dec 10, 2016
Pros: Living quarters were outstanding
Cons: Not much...
Location: All major attractions are 10-30 minutes walking. Botanical gardens + Park Retiro + Prado art museum + Royal Palace plus more...
It's rare to find true comfort in European accommodations for families of 3 or 4, but here Luxury Suites excels with 2 full BR's, 2 full baths, sitting area and kitchen - these are clearly nice former apartments. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The location of Luxury suites places you only a few hundred meters walking to Park Retiro (think of this as Madrid's Grand Central park) in one direction and then connecting to a starting point of Grand Via, where all people and retail, restaurant action is afforded you. Will definitely stay here on any return trip!

Fabulous stay in Madrid!

Posted Nov 6, 2016
Location: Location is great - close to all the good stuff!
We had a one bedroom apartment hence ample room to be comfortable for a week's stay. Bathroom facilities very good with quality toiletries provided. Kitchen was small but very adequate - hooked now on Nespresso coffeemaker! We had an issue with the washing machine leaking water which was repaired immediately. The hotel is on a busy street so very noisy if the doors are open however, when closed, it is perfectly quiet. The front desk staff were so good, helping in all ways possible. Hats off to David in particular for helping to make our stay so enjoyable!

Excellent location and friendly staff

Posted Sep 10, 2016
Our stay at Luxury Suites in Madrid was excellent. We felt at home. The location is perfect as it is close to many tourist sights such El Retiro, Plaza de Cibeles, Puerta de Alcala, etc. Additionally and most importantly, the place was very clean and comfortable with a very professional and friendly staff who was always attentive to our needs.

Location, location, amenities

Posted Aug 23, 2016
Nice location near art triangle but amenities really need improving. Wifi was really very spotty, and one of us burned hand on exposed heating bulb on breakfast buffet. Management expressed very little concern about what could have been a bad burn injury. Door frame in room had been only partially repaired from a previous replacement. It could be great but details matter.

Convenient but not "luxury

Posted Jul 6, 2016
This hotel is very convenient to the major tourist attractions but our room was a big disappointment. We had the 'senior suite' which was spacious but shabby. It is unfortunate that the hotel is letting it's accommodations go downhill. They are renovating the public spaces such as the hallways and landings when they should concentrate on the areas that matter the most to a guest. ..the rooms. Our bathroom had a ceiling that was peeling plaster in bubbled sheets and black gunk around the tub. The living room furniture was stained and more appropriate to your grandmother's house than an upscale hotel. The breakfast buffet was hit and miss. Some days we had eggs and bacon, other days it was only cold food. It was not always ready for guests at the opening time, which was bad for us as we had early plans and could not wait for them to be ready. The 'terrace' is nice, but 2 of the 3 times we tried to use it they said it was booked for a private party. Why bother to say you have it if it is not for the guests? All that said, we think the hotel is so well located that if you can overlook it's faults you may enjoy your stay.

Thanks Rick for taking the time to register your comments. We are sorry that we have not met your expectations. We kindly accept your suggestions and please accept once again our apologies but there are always renovating priorities. We are on the way to renovate some areas and we will do every single bathroom also. We usually like preparing hot food at the time to make sure food is hot and not get cold, please next time ask the cooker and she will prepare it for you with pleasure. Furniture is only 5 years old and as you can understand we sometimes have private events and they book our roof top bar as a meeting room. We think that Quality is not expensive and we look forward to welcome you in the very near future
