Ok hotel... location very good

Posted Jan 20, 2017
Hotel is fine and in good location. Small rooms and you can't control the air temperature in the room it is controlled centrally so was very warm, open windows adds tons of street noise. If you get a good price would be ok, but don't overpay for this hotel it isn't worth it.

Great location in Chueca.

Pros: Cool 70's decor. Gorgeous roof terrace and beautiful people.
Cons: Small elevators gets full, but clients get priority over visitors to the roof top terrace.
Location: Tons of shopping, eating, great GF bakery called Deluciosa. Lively area. A block from Via grande.

Trendy hotel in a trendy district

Posted Sep 30, 2016
Pros: Location and comfort were the highlights.
Cons: The dark corridors lean a little away from trendy and more towards horror film
Location: Located in a trendy district, lots of clubs and shopping nearby (although didn't affect the noise levels inside the hotel)
Stayed in Madrid for 3 days and Room Mate Oscar was a good choice. It is centrally located, with a trendy look and feel (disco lift!!) but still comfortable overall. I hadn't before experienced the Queen Bed = two singles made separately next to each other thing before but it seems to be common in Spain. There is a very nice rooftop bar, and it looks over a square that is nice for a late night drink or meal. There was also a cafe downstairs but we didn't try it. The mini-bar prices were also very reasonable.

Excellent location. Friendly staff

Pros: Theunique feature of the hotel is the pool and roof terrace. Great view of the Telefonica building from where to watch the sun set with a cocktail.
Cons: Nothing
Location: The location of the hotel is perfect for enjoying the sights of Madrid. Located on the outskirts of Chueca and just one short block from Gran Via.
The hotel staff we without exception professional and friendly. The rooms are strikingly designed and extremely comfortable and clean.

Nice hotel, well located in Madrid near the fun

Posted Sep 6, 2016
Pros: The simplicity and service.
Cons: No gym - had to walk to a nearby gym and paid 9 Euro per entry. Pool area accessible only if you pay extra 20 Euro per day.
Location: Lots of shopping, museums, parks, plazas and great restaurants (authentic Spanish) within walking distance.
Went there for a wedding and stayed 4 nights. Modern hotel with minimalistic decor and excellent service and staff. Wedding was at the roof top - excellent.

Nice hotel near Grand Via and attractions.

Posted Sep 4, 2016
Pros: Located on minor public square, but room has 2 sets of double-paned windows in room and was surprisingly quiet. Very clean and comfortable.
Cons: Hotel Wifi dropped your connection and/or was slow in the late afternoon/evening during peak times.
Location: Easy walking distance to most Madrid attractions Prado, Thyssen, Reina Sofia, Plaza del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Retiro Park and 1 street over from Gran Via.
Pleasant and quiet hotel. Comfortable bed, great shower, true AC, coffee service in room, good breakfast buffet, friendly and helpful staff (even when your Spanish skills are lacking) in a great location.

Funky and Fun place to chill in hot Madrid!

Posted Aug 3, 2016
Pros: Location and environment
Cons: level of service, be as cool as you like, but basic service has to be met overtime.
Location: Fantastic, everything walking distance of shops and centre and within LGBT quarter certainly added vibrancy.
I booked this hotel last minute with my son who was keen to go to Bernabau Stadium, He really liked it and thought was 'so uber cool' and the funky environment was great place to chill in Madrid heat, room was excellent and reception staff really welcoming to us both. Pity we could not use the pool afternoon, as son was 14, but dad enjoyed chilling in the bar ! Sadly, with all the focus on cool, the hotel breakfast staff seemed to have missed the point of good service, even if a buffet style. Come on, you cannot run out of cutlery and glasses, this is a basic requirement to get right every time ! Bit of confusion over luggage meant we were delayed checking out hotel and missed train connection..again, basics have to be understood. We would stay again because of location and fun place to chill in summer.
